If I was competing, I would definitely be after Kadri. only 3 years left after this year. He's great this year, and almost certainly going to be great next year. I don't see him totally falling off a cliff in the last 2 years. Even if he takes a step back and becomes more of a 20 goal and 45 point player for those last two years, at 7 million value, with his leadership qualities, that isn't horrible.

I doubt the Instagram thing means much. They could have just been bored and gave each other the idea to make some posts. It's also possible that they don't manage their own accounts and the same person manages both.

Red Wings? I would usually say players doing things on Instagram are meaningless. But the fact they both posted right after sec did, and there is no description on the posts when all other posts have descriptions, could mean something.

I love and appreciate our CP insiders, but there is no correlation to the timing of a post on a message board to these (probably meaningless) Instagram posts.

I don't have instagram so I don't have full context of the posts, but are they photos of them throughout their entire time in Calgary, or just from throughout this year? If it's the latter I'd assume it's just some sort of 'end of year' photo dump post.
Either way I'm not really looking too deep into it. I find it's more fun to speculate on the cryptic gifs lol.

They look like recent photos. But both posted at the same time a bunch of photos, and they are the only posts on both their page without a description.
I normally would think nothing of it, just they posted it the same hour sec posted his blockbuster gif. I'm bored and stuck waiting for a flight so just over analyzing things having fun.
