So I'm just playing with my new iPad and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there's a way to update your iPhone apps for the iPad without having to pay for them again. I suspect not but I thought I'd ask anyway.

If you're iTunes account is on your iPad and iPhone all the apps should be moved onto your iPad as well.

Ya I know and they did come across but they are in the iPhone format. The screen size is what - 200 X 400? It's just a small screen in the middle of the iPad. Any thoughts?

That's how iPhone apps transfer over. There is a 2X button to enlarge them but they will be blurry. Some apps have iPad and iPhone versions that come with the same download. Many require you to buy both. It depends on the developer.

Anyone catch South Park last night? It just so happened that upgrading to iOS 4.3.2 and upgrading my iTunes were 2 things I was planning on doing when I got home from watching the show at my friends... haha.

iootp was released today. Haven't downloaded it yet, but if it is even close to the PC version, this will be the thing I play most.
ootp = Out of The Park Baseball. It is a text sim baseball game, addicting as hell.

I heard that it is quite watered down but considering how much depth is in the PC version then this should still be decent.

I was wondering if anyone has used both the TomTom and Garmin GPS apps, and if so, can comment on which is better or why they prefer one over the other.
The garmin app gets slammed on the app store, but I have a hard time believing its as bad as people say. The TomTom app looks pretty good overall.
I'd be using either app on both an iPhone and iPad 3G
