That was a fantastic match - Rafa now 20-0 in 2022 and young Carlos is going to be trouble for everybody on the ATP tour.

Today was my daughter's birthday so I had to PVR the march and just finished it.......what a fantastic match. As a tennis fan I'm so proud of that match. If you show that match to 100 people who have never seen a tennis match all 100 would become fans for life. The wind was insane at times, reminiscent of the Nadal and Federer semi from 2019 French Open.
Hats off to Alcaraz, this kid is incredible and I think he will be winning majors either this year or next. At times, it honestly felt like Nadal was playing the T-1000 from T2. He has a few things to improve on, and once he does I honestly can see like 2004-2007 Federer level of dominance seasons. We all like him now, but he may become a big obstacle for Felix or Dennis achieving titles.
As for Nadal that was such an incredible performance, to take out a player that is half his age and is playing at an incredible level. I hope Rafa's foot and shoulder hold up, and after tomorrow's final he gets some much needed rest.

I guess you could say Rafa is a little on the Fritz at the moment.

Fritz wins the first set 6-3 and Rafa is leaving the court to get a trainer/physio visit.

Just too many unforced errors from Nadal today, that shoulder/pec is obviously bothering him.

He's still fighting with everything he's got. Fritz is playing at a ridiculous level right now as well.
