The league has now decided upon the following regarding Bethel-Thompson.
His appearance constituted a clear violation of the league’s protocols, which are much stricter than those facing the general public, and which prohibit players from attending large sporting events. Bethel-Thompson was sent home this morning from the Argos facility.
- He must Quarantine at home for two days and two nights.
- He cannot attend practices or meetings in person today, nor tomorrow (December 3 and 4).
- He can connect with the team electronically, attend virtual meetings and train individually, by himself and NOT at the team facility, today and tomorrow (December 3 and 4).
In addition to the PCR test completed today, he must undergo a PCR test tomorrow (Saturday, December 4) a Rapid Antigen Test on the day following (Sunday, December 5) If all tests are returned negative and proof of the negative tests is provided to the League Office, he will then be able to join the team and play on Sunday, December 5.
The Medical Committee based its advice on current conditions, including the current rate of vaccination in the CFL Community, which has grown considerably since the summer.
The CFL has also been informed that four additional Argo players – Dexter McCoil, Charleston Hughes, Llevi Noel and Jeff Richards – also attended the basketball game.

Its just the most CFLiest situation ever.
So the league and MLSE set up an interview during the Raps game with a TSN reporter and MBT to cross promote Sundays game. In doing so, they violated their own rules that they set up that could still cost them having the face of that game that they chose....to miss the game he was there to promote.
Simply unbelievable.....if it was anything but a Randy Ambrosie led CFL anyhow.

Just to clarify, this isn’t quite right. The league had nothing to do with it.
MLSE forced MBT to go to the Raps game. So the CFL didn’t violate their own rules. MLSE did.
Now, that’s all pretty stupid in and of itself and the CFL’s decision to change their own rules is suspicious.
The CFL also said that since the covid situation has changed so much since earlier in the situation that reducing the quarantine makes sense.

Great play by Ja'Gared Davis knocking down that pass in the endzone forcing the Argos to settle for another chip shot FG.

As much as I loathe Chris Jones, there's no denying he knows how to coach up a defense.

Sorry I didn't read the rest of the thread, but did anyone else watch that Argo player giving some fans the finger during the pregame?

I think this is a good challenge as there was certainly contact in the endzone.
Edit: Call on the field stands.

Poppy White with a huge punt return for the Ti-Cats to get them back in this game. PAT missed, Argos lead 12-6

Ti-Cats execute a nice fake FG to get a first down and on the very next play find paydirt. They go for the 2 point conversion which is not successful and thus, we are tied 12-12.

Sure dont understand not kicking the convert there.
Now a missed Argo FG has you trailing by that point....in an extremely low scoring ball game.

Huff doesn't make many mistakes, but letting Ja'Gared Davis go was one. He's a difference maker out there.

Dane Evans is perfect on the day as far as passing is concerned and calls his own number to punch it in for the TD, 2 point conversion is good and Hamilton leads 20-13.

Evans still hasn't thrown an incompletion on the day (16/16 for 249 yards) and two rushing TD's.

Argos get to within eight with 1:10 left - On-side kick upcoming.
Edit: Well, that was pretty bad execution.
