Apparently Carrera was our 2nd best on base guy at this point (behind only JD & even ahead of Joey Bats). 2nd best guy at getting on base!!
Let that sink in for a while, fellows because that's hard to believe.

Why... His offensive game has been great - his D ... well that's another story although they seem to have gotten through to him about his communication and coverage in the field. Although his brain farts in throwing to the wrong base and missing cutoff men make me want to jump through the tv and punch him in the face - Just like Smoak you can't tell what a player is until they get full time reps for an extended time - which makes successful bench guys that much more impressive.
