I will say that Raiders receivers are pretty terrible when it comes to drops. They had 5 drops yesterday and two were key 3rd down drops and one was an easy TD in the end zone that Crabs dropped. Raiders are 3rd in the league I believe in dropped passes and Carr's numbers would be considerably better is his receivers were more dependable.

Raiders receivers might drop balls, but at least they can get open and the line provides protection for Carr to make good throws. Although...Alex Smith with time and open receivers still misses too many of these like Spencer Ware yesterday for a sure TD, or at least a 30 yard gain if it's underthrown.
In a way the Raiders are a bit like the Seahawks were with some young star players on cheaper draft contracts. It's allowed them to spend on their offensive line and other parts to give them better depth.
In a couple years this will turn and Mack, Cooper, Carr will be eating up a bigger piece of the cap. So really like the Seahawks, this year and next year probably are their chances to make hay and get to the Superbowl.
Thursday night should be a decent game. Chiefs are pretty old and beat up, but keep finding new tricks to come up with wins. We'll see if Andy Reid can find another trick to up his sleeve to tip the balance in a close game. Raiders right now are a much younger and superior team for sure. I wish they'd kept Hue Jackson.....
I imagine most Raider (and Bronco's) fans look at the Chiefs and wonder how that collection of garbage has more than 3 wins. It's the first time since the days of Schottenheimer in the early to mid 90's that the Chiefs have strung together 4 consecutive winning seasons. Andy Reid has certainly brought that Schottenheimer like stability to the Chiefs, and similar to the Marty ball teams, competitive teams, but teams that no one takes seriously as a contender if they're not a Chiefs fan.
