You know, I just had a thought... Game developers should add an option to upload your save games to DropBox. That way, you would be able to share a single playthrough on both your iPad and iPhone, and you can also recover your game saves after a restore.
I can't even play Angry Birds anymore because of how many times I've had to replay the first 20 levels (after restores).

You can sort of do that now if you run something like phoneview and copy the highscores.lua file before you do a restore and then replace it when you are done. Phoneview costs $20 but it's the only one I can think of that can handle both iphones and ipads. Most of the free ones I've seen only do iphones/ipods.
The Following User Says Thank You to CKPThunder For This Useful Post:
Anyone have GPS accuracy issue with runkeeper? When I go for runs there are always some little 'spikes' on the map and my pace jumps around when I am going the same speed the whole time. It is obviously having occasional position anomalies.
So I tried Imapmyrun, and it all worked much better. The map was very accurate, with no 'spikes' of position. My speeds all seemed very close and reasonable.
I have an app being developed right now.
Allows users to take a song from their ipod and sing along to it like karaoke. What makes it different from the other apps like this is the ability to upload your recording to a server where others will comment and rate on it.
What are your thoughts? I think the ability to allow others to comment and rate will peak interest of those who think they should be the next american idol.
While the development can be a few thousand dollars I think the payoff in the event it is successful will be well worth it.
I also like the fact I have someone else in charge of everything so that my time is not spent on something I know nothing about.

Can't people already do that for free on youtube?

I think you will not make your money back on that app.
It could make for some hilarious viral stuff though.
So the app takes a song and removes the lyrics so you can sign to just the music? I'm not going to ask how you do that, but I'd pay for it.
That's a very common feature of karaoke machines isn't it? There's tons of software out there that'll do it too, I think there's even a plugin for Winamp.
As said above, several companies/individuals do this.
Appreciate the feedback. While mixed reviews Yes you can do it on youtube. You can also visit texts from last night on the net for free but tons of people pay 99c for it as an app.
