Caught a Ditto last night (this morning?) at the Children's Hospital waiting room. There were a pair of Pidgeys. One was a Ditto. The Pidgey was around 126CP. My wife caught the same one a few minutes later.

I think it's almost silly that later today, I'll be doing a lucky egg evolve, which should give me over 100,000 xp, fully 10% of all the points I've collected in the game so far, after playing for 4 months.

That should take me to level 27.

14 out of my top 18 in CP are eevee evolutions. 6 Vaporeons above 2000.

Less than 4 km to walk for Dodrio. Still no ditto.

I too am level 27 with a lot of eeveelutions at the top. Jolteon has become more relevant from the buff - vaporean/gyarados/dragonite killer. Also boosted my top dragonite to 2800+.

I really like the new tracker because along with it Niantic put far more pokemon spawns AT pokestops and gyms. Now in the cold I will just occasionally hit some stops or a gym (which there is at work) and there's some mons waiting. Makes it reasonable to play in the winter, if nothing else for 5-10 minutes to get the daily bonuses!

Just need a tracker again to start catching more dragonites/snorlaxes..

Made good progress today.

Hatched a Pikachu, poliwag and a sandshrew. Caught 3 squirtles, 2-3 geodudes, an abra, evolved a dodrio. Hatched an Omanyte the other day too. After all that, I have a number of things that are 20-30 candies away, where one more hatch makes walking for the remaining candies quite reasonable.

Are you saying the lucky egg and the 2 x XP bonus stack? ie. 4 x XP?

Yeah they do stack.

There will likely be all kinds of special events until no one plays the game anymore.

Perhaps a December event will coincide with the release of the 100 new Pokemon.

Yeah it finished yesterday evening. It went a bit longer than expected so I risked popping a final egg to get to level 30. Last ~5 minutes of my egg went back to normal double xp but at least I hit level 30.

Only need 18 Grimer candies to get Muk and then luck out on Chansey to finish my dex. My only dragonite XP =46 so can always grind Dratini candies to stay somewhat interested until gen 2 gets released.
