Ya, anything remotely decent in the imax on opening night will be fine. I was only able to get AVX on opening night and imax later in the week. Anyone else buy two different nights as well? Ha
Picked up tickets for the 4pm showing on Saturday Dec 19 at Crossiron. Thursday and Friday were almost completely sold out, only crappy seats at the very front available. Rest of the weekend looks to be filling up fast
I'm not really questioning now if The Force Awakens will take the top grossing movie of all time spot, but instead by how much
Is it wrong that I got chills and a bit misty when I watched that trailor, especially with the Falcon in hyperspace.
I loved the look of absolute fear and uncertainty on Finns face as Ren strides into him.
You have to wonder about the line "I will finish what you started".
Vader didn't really have a political agenda, he was basically a rage machine in the service of the Empire, unless the finish is killing the last of the Jedi.
Christmas can't come soon enough.

Ya when I was young I could never get enough of that shot of the stars elongating from within the falcon cockpit, and then the spinning shot from behind as it blasted into hyperspace. This updated version was so sicknasty I rewound like 6 times.
Could be a very high bar for the planned surge of Star Wars movies in the coming years. But for now, thanks for the lowered expectations, George!
I like that they gave us a little snippet about the 3 new main characters but didn't reveal much about the actual story.
Goddammit I can't wait for this movie.
The hyperspace sequence and the Falcon weaving through the wreckage definitely got me too.
It seems like the Jedi and Sith have sort of faded into history and become like legends or myths. Maybe Luke has gone into hiding to try to prevent another war between these factions from developing?
So my wife has never seen Star Wars (and I still married her)
Anyway, I am looking forward to sitting down with her over the next two months and working our way through the movies. Question is, do I do it by movie release date or chronologically?

Release date. Always release date.
If she watches the Phantom Menace first it'll be the last Star Wars movie you ever get her to watch.
