The thing I don't understand is why you would want a President with a strong personal affinity to Israel via his Jewish kids who appears to personally loathe poor brown people and poor brown countries and represents a party who's members loathe all Arabs, Muslims and any other non white's in charge of the US.
Biden may not give a toss about Palestine but he has to worry about his left wing, Trump will ring Bibi up and tell him 'kill as may as you can, I don't care'

Did you watch the video? It's not bad. Argues that DEI fails to deliver increased profits, contrary to what DEI consultants (who profit off of promoting.DEI) would have corporations believe. It tracks, also not surprising.
Reminds me of a conference I attended.way before DEI emerges in its current form. A panel, a pretty high profile one at that /, was tryinh, with limited success, to convince the audience that diversifying the work force would lead to more innovation. A table of accounts including men, women, people of colour, and white people collectively.asked why that would be the case. They noted that as accountants they all thought the.same way (like accountants do). The panel gave what I think could be considered a respectable answer along the lines of different cultural.views of money management, but no one bought it.
Anywho,.most corporate DEI has devolved into a form of branding, if it ever started out.as anything different.

Well sir, I'm not sure what the 'you're a big Israel supporter means'? Maybe you could clarify if that is good or bad or if they should be treated less than a human being? Or does your opinion count more?
Thank you for proving my point.
Same with the post count. I'm not sure if you think that's a bad thing? Because a person is stupid and posted 5000 in a month, does that mean the person with any less, is not more intelligent than you? Please don't tell me that's how you rank people and their opinions lol. It actually sounds like you should get out more, or work more.
This is a forum, i'm not sure why anyone would get mad in real life, so I am going to chalk that up to projection
I don't know Johnny, but to take enjoyment in his misery seems like a dick move. Johnny may even have good little Johnny jokes.
Anyways, old school. You're comment about hoping trump win because of him was disingenuous.
We have had our fun, now back on topic.
I don't know what the Democrats are doing, especially this close to the election. But the RNC looks like a high school dance mixed with WWE. When Johnson went on all the channels then said no one needs a teleprompter, then promptly left the stage because his teleprompter broke was awesome. And Trump really is going downhill fast and cant speak nearly as well. America can do better

Do you think it matters who wins when it comes to Israel? A monkey can be president and Israel will still be Israel and still be bombing innocent women and children.

It's almost like it's completely unrelated. I bet neither side will stop murdering each other regardless of the outcome.

I suspect it may be a prudent political move for the Democratic Party to now move on to Kamala or anyone not 78+ years old and run a campaign heavy on messaging for how unfit Dementia Don is for office. The rambling and incoherent old man who was on stage tonight is locked in, he’s the nominee, it could be quite brilliant really.
I don’t imagine they will but I think it plays in Peoria. The memory of the conservative shooter who took a potshot out of convenience and not much more should fade quickly and whatever that was tonight can be looped much the way Biden’s debate performance was. Vance is a dud of a VP and focusing on how wholly unqualified he is for office and his (now scrubbed) extremist right wing views on abortion should weigh him down like an anchor as well.
Assuming Biden drops out the democrats really should be able to put together one heck of a campaign.

Politico's update list of Democrat candidates that could replace Biden. Which one would have the best chance to beat Trump?
https://www.politico.com/interactive...ent-pros-cons/
I think this is the type of election you need a great talker more than anything. Most people seem entrenched on one side or the other, so you need someone savvy who can steal the spotlight away from Trump to lure the people enamored by hype.

X, the social media platform owned by Trump megadonor Elon Musk, is promoting Trump campaign-curated content to all U.S. users, regardless of whether they have opted out of Trump-related content.
On the platform formerly known as Twitter, banner ads for the Trump campaign donning the #Trump2024 tag appear for all U.S. users, even those who’ve blocked words, topics, and hashtags related to the candidate or his campaign or muted the advertiser.

Trump moved the embassy which led to the Jewish military shooting a bunch of poeople protesting on the boarder. So yes it does matter. Indifferent and actively make worse are two different things.

I watched some of the commentary from the CNN panel last night after Trump's speech to see what their reaction was and surprisingly they all seemed to be in agreement that the Republican convention was one of the best planned out and executed conventions in many years from either party.

Good news is no one cares what CNN thinks and we all have eyes. It's ok to admit it was a trainwreck, especially since it won't matter in the end.

I feel like there's potential to take a lot of momentum out of the Trump campaign simply by Biden stepping down. Seems like one of MAGA/Trumpism's defining features is 'anti-Biden', and so Biden "quitting", should be perceived as a victory to that crowd.
I don't doubt the Democrats are still in trouble come election time, but I do wonder if a percentage of Republican voters become less motivated once Biden is, in essence, defeated next week.
Same could be said for Canadian politics if Trudeau were to step down.

MAGA and the Cult aren't anti-Biden, they are anti-everything that isn't worshiping Trump as a God. They've turned on previous bootlickers, and welcomed previous opponents who've bended the knee (see: Calgary Ted). If Biden drops out whoever replaces him gets the same treatment. Biden being mentally impaired hurts Dems chances with the suburban voters they need, people's whose votes are actually available.

They are way past the point of no return in having to remove Biden. He can't head into the final 4 months with nearly every corner of his party saying he should step aside.
The timing is pretty good for him to step down around Monday and give the new person plenty of time (more time than any other country's election campaign).
It's hard to see a way around it being Harris. Hopefully they can turn her into a good candidate.
