I mean, they're responsible for constantly pissing and ####ting on other people's property.

Let's be fair, sometimes they do bother to put it in a plastic bag before they leave it behind for others.

I actually experienced this first-hand for the first time Tuesday evening. It has many elements of former recent gear grinders, as it features downtown bike lanes, rollerblading, and pit bulls with trashy irresponsible owners:

I was rollerblading in the bike lane downtown approaching an intersection, where this trashy looking downtown couple was jaywalking across with a pit bull, towards me. Could tell it was timing out that we were going to get to the end of the intersection at the same time, but I figured they'd yield for me since I had the green (and moving fast on blades) and they didn't. Of course they didn't do this, however, and walked right in front of me.

If you've ever rollerbladed or skateboarded before (wheels are similar), you'll know the sound seems to spook some dogs. They'll freak out, start barking at you and try to come after you. Usually it's mostly just little dogs as they're jumpy and filled with Napoleon Syndrome, bigger dogs usually don't care (though there's been occasions). Usually I just roll my eyes as it's a shih-tzu or terrier or something. This time, the pit bull did it.

He lost it, and charged right at me (on a leash thank jebus). Between the dude's lackadaisical hold on the leash, and me on blades not able to stop on a dime, it got very close: probably within a couple feet of me. Seeing that demonic look in it's eyes that pit bulls get while it charged straight at me and clearly going for my leg was so freaky, I had that shaky feeling afterwards you get after a close call. When I chirped them after, he was just like "he doesn't like rollerblades"

Freaking pit bulls, and the trashy "Crooks & Castles" types that are drawn to owning them, I hate it.

Oh yeah they were such dirtbags, I could tell. A closet full of Crooks & Castles t-shirts they pair with a junkyard dog style chain I'm sure.

Ehhhhh, pretty hit or miss chance there. Oilers might be more likely to not hire a rapist, gambling addict, or criminal.

"Sometimes" might be the right qualifier.

I live on a busy street where people are always walking their dogs. I have yet to encounter an owner who didn't pick up their dogs feces. In fact the owners dogs will often come up to me on their leash as they know I have dog treats in my garage.

If someone kicked my dog in the face, I'd kick them in the nuts

But also my dog wouldn't rush up to people so the whole thing is a non issue I guess

My 75lb dog can look scary but is really just the canine equivalent of a care bear. He's a rescue who grew up roaming the reservation so recall has been difficult to train. So that means he's always on a leash unless at a fenced in dog park. It's not that hard.

Off leash areas should be restricted to fenced in dog parks. There really shouldn't be any other kinds IMO.

Trying to watch some Olympics coverage on CBC Gem. As with past games they've got a pretty good interface where you can get a replay of every single event. But this year I cannot navigate within that video...no fast forward or rewind...just pause. Ridiculous.

It's via my Google TV. It's definitely worked in the past. Maybe I'll have to chromecast it or something but this is stupid and annoying

When dogs rush me and jump up on me, I get revenge by doing the same to the owners. They especially love it when I slobber all over them and sniff their genitals.

This is one of those cases where I look at my experiences in the real world, read threads like this, and then ask myself whether:

A) The tolerant, civic-minded world I see every day (in this case, being in an around dog parks almost daily for 15 years) is just a facade, and many of the seemingly chill people around me are privately seething with resentment and fury

OR

B) Social media is a dark, alternate reality where people whip one another into outrage over issues that barely register among normies in the real world.

Or a 3rd option:

The world exists in more than your simple version of black and white, because a combination of the 2 is much too difficult to comprehend for yourself which is why you make simple conclusions and act them out as truth.
