Even as someone whose read the comics.. I'm going to stay away from spoilers. I ruined the Michonne reveal at the end of last season.. would have been so much more enjoyable if I didn't know what was coming up.

Yea, me too. Not that I read the comics, or had any idea who 'Michonne' was, I saw a spoiler screenshot and so the whole episode I knew it was coming. My own damn fault, though.

i'm still surprised by things, but it's more of "Oh cool, they're including that from the comic". i know there's a character for next season called The Governor, but beyond that i have no clue what his arc will be. there will be some similarities for sure, but i bet they change it up enough for the series that there will still be some cool shocks
i like this style between book and show, it's like watching the same story but in an alternate universe. if some people make some different decisions here and there, the story takes some wild turns and it's neat to see that play out
