Tough call here, normally of course no decision to make, you try and win, but it's just as likely Darnold costs them the game then he does wins it for them.

I’m surprised they let him throw it at all that series. Sure it was a 7 yard pass against a full zone but I take nothing for granted. He was then going to arm punt it before getting sacked.
Seattle needs a turnover or a special teams huge play here in OT to win.

It’s rule I guess, but did the ground really help him keep possession? I don’t think so.
That was Seattle’s chance. No way Sam goes 65 in the air outside of a PI.
Seattle likely to go 0-173 when down by 15+ in 4th quarter. And they would have to go for 2 because a tie doesn’t help Seattle in a tiebreaker.

Rams had almost 600 yards of offense and no turnovers and still lost. Gotta be pretty rare.

3% chance of winning in the 4th.
Reminds me of that playoff comeback against Green Bay in 2015.
A game for the ages.

This means nothing if Seattle doesn’t win the division. Or the NFC.
Seattle’s not out of the woods yet as mentioned. On the road in Carolina who is trying to win the division at 7-7. And on the road in SF.
Darnold was terrible most of the game and the OC was giving him dink and dunk passes when down by 7 or tied. Then he just let loose in OT.
If Sam plays like that they don’t win both upcoming games.
That said, this win gives them a playoff birth which would’ve been a so so affair with the above mentioned next 2 games.

Nacua unsurprisingly learned nothing from his comments and his fake hollow apology because instead of going on social media tonight to bask in his 225 yard (losing) game, he picks up the phone, more eager to make another tweet about refs.
It’s been well over a decade but still baffles me why pro athletes have, or are in charge of, their own social media.
McVey with sour grapes about the time it took for the 2 point convert play to get reviewed and the procedural issues of timing within that review.

I thought they were going to need a turnover in OT to win and they almost got it with that near lick by Ernest Jones.
Then they line up in 3 totally different formations for a game winning 2 point convert, I was sure the first was going to JSN, and the second to Cupp, and the third to Barner, only to have it go to... Eric Saubert? Yeah. Didn't see that one coming.
Also, #### Puka Nacua.

Long before the Dolphins benched Tua Tagovailoa and turned to rookie Quinn Ewers, they made a push to land the quarterback they'll face Sunday -- Joe Burrow.
Before the 2020 NFL draft, the Dolphins offered the Bengals four first-round picks in exchange for the No. 1 overall selection and the ability to draft Burrow, league sources told ESPN.
The Bengals declined to even engage in discussions and shut down the trade inquiry before it could gain any traction, according to sources.

That field goal is like hitting a drive at the Open Championship at Str.Andrews on a blustery day.
