Late night/early morning scenes in Madrid as ADF takes out Rune in a three set marathon (wins the 3rd set tie-break 7-5). Match ended at 1:08 am Madrid time.

Aryna Sabalenka puts a halt to the great run of Mirra Andreeva taking out the 16 year old 6-3 6-1.

Semi-finals that year were Rafa vs. Novak and Fed vs. Delpo - The final was Fed vs. Rafa with Fed taking it 6-4 6-4. Was 2009 peak Fed on clay?

I'd still take 2006 Fed for any general situation (he won Madrid that year too, but indoors on hard?). he made the finals of Monte Carlo, Rome and Paris and was only stopped each time by you know who. wasn't Rafa in 2009 already dealing with knee and family issues at that point?

Wow what a match, no wonder why Nadal didn't win the French that year. Also what a coming out party for Novak. Imagine how many French Open titles Fed would have if Nadal wasn't there.....5?6?

you're supposed to be a bit weird at the Met gala, I think sunglasses is a bit toned down from his 2017 look

Some Russian-on-Russians upsets in Madrid today - Aslan Karatsev sends Meddy packing in straight sets while Karen Khachanov does the same to Andrey Rublev.

Charlie in good form today sending a breadstick to Zverev - Another set just like the first one as I'm all here for the schadenfreude.

Looks like all the streams from Madrid are on the fritz (and I don't mean they're all showing Taylor).

Charlie decided to take it easy on the German in set 2 as he advances 6-1 6-2.
