They've played well. Actually moving it forward at speed.

That starting Man U lineup today actually seems the closest to ideal utilization of their players IMO.

I don't understand this crap. Did Rashford or Elanga have to leave early after the game and they didn't get a chance to talk? He's lost his phone number?

Either Portugal is off-kilter or Old Trafford was leveled by a pub landlord and lists a little bit to the left.

The beauty of the FA Cup is learning where Kidderminster is (just southwest of Birmingham!), and that Robert Plant is a fan. Also, #### West Ham for ruining the upset.

It still sucks that Sportsnet has the rights and is showing 5 channels of the same thing. I want to watch teams like Kiddermeister.

They want to promote Sportsnet World and Sportsnet NOW since people paid for that.

Yeah I get that. It’s just incredibly pointless though. Like people pay for these “normal” channels as well and do I really need to pay to see the same thing on all five? Consumers just get taken advantage of by media companies and their practices. Anyway, not the point of this thread, so I’ll just drop it.

Man that is double brutal for Kidderminster with two added time goals to send them out.

I was watching a bit of Burnley and Watford, and I’m not sure how that’s not a handball. I guess it’s close, but the defender makes himself as large as possible and blocks the ball.

FA Cup now reminds me of the dark days when TSN and Sportsnet had the EPL and you needed the extra premium full olden days cable package to watch games across both networks with certain games often hidden behind the additional SNWorld paywall. Thank goodness the streaming services wrenched it away from them. Hopefully fubo isn't a let off from DAZN and sportsnet loses the FA Cup soon

Boreham Wood knocked out Bournemouth! Conference team into the last 16. They go to Everton next.

Manchester United have been named the club with the biggest transfer losses in the last decade, splashing out more than €1 billion ($1.14bn) on players.

A study published by Switzerland-based independent research group CIES Football Observatory revealed United had a net spend of €1.075bn since 2012, spending €1.545bn on transfers while making €470 million back in player sales.

Their local rivals Manchester City came second with a net spend of €984m, splashing out more than United with €1.699bn but bringing in €715m from sales.

Paris Saint-Germain were third with a net spend of €941m.

Barcelona were fourth in the list with a far lower net spend of €650m

But while PSG, City and Barcelona at least have plenty of silverware to show for their indulgences in the last decade, United have largely underperformed on the pitch, above all since serial-winning manager Alex Ferguson left in 2013.

Interesting.

My big takeaway from this: Burnley are bigger terrorists than Al-Qaeda. Oh, and Brighton are awesome too.
