Who said anything about dropping the gloves other than puckluck saying Weaver should fight 3 tough guys?

Go Habs! These teams always seem to end up in Game 7 OT and it looks to be happening again.

I didn't see the game but am curious at all the comments on this board saying Montreal got lucky and was badly outplayed. The 4-0 scoreline tells me the opposite. Did Montreal actually fluke out a 4-0 win or are these more typical comments from the Iggy fans/Habs haters?

There was chicken #### crap there, but it was from the Bruins. Chara punches him, then Lucic goes after him, then Iginla goes after him ... oooh, big bad Bruins.
Pushing players around after a whistle is hardly going it up. Iginla isn't a tough guy he's a good player that can handle things like a man.

The gooning it up started when fake tough guy Markov pulled a cheap chicken #### play on Chara.

Maybe the Canadiens think the Bruins won't stick up for themselves like they don't?

This thread is absolutely incredible. It's like a battle that's been brewing for months that nobody knew was coming.

This thread is a balloon store and you're all porcupines.

I know people are emotionally invested in the Bruins because of Iggy but people are acting like its the Flames playing because of that. I hope everyone will be at least half this into it when they make the playoffs again. I don't understand it ? Iginla did screw with the Flames on trade day. He could of already been in the cup final had he not flip flopped his position at the last minute.

Montreal has been getting away with a lot of cheap shots on Character especially. If they can't back it up that's tough for them.

Nowhere in that post do I say dropped the gloves.

I think you are underestimating how most hockey fans despise the Montreal Canadiens and their fans.

If he's not a tough guy then he shouldn't act like a tough guy. A pig with lipstick is still a pig. Weaver acting tough doesn't make him tough as evidenced by his chickening out.

Montreal played a disciplined speed based game with a great forecheck and lots of shot blocking.
First goal was a lucky bounce. The rest of the game Boston played like crap.

Or maybe the habs were lucky...
Im not sure anymore

Whatever you say puckluck. I only saw three guys acting tough, and they had a B on their jerseys.

You said the Bruins were gooning it up when all they were doing is shoving after the whistle which happens in a lot of hockey games all the time. Had Iginla or Chara dropped the gloves and started throwing bombs on these guys then yes you would have been correct.

Chara punched him in the face and then Lucic and Iginla went after a dude like 6 inches shorter

I'm sorry that the word 'gooning' just totally messed that up for you. Perhaps you'd prefer 'weak bull####' instead?

Says a man behind a keyboard watching an NHL game and not playing in one. Right? Life is seen through many perspectives. Pick and choose your battles .

Again, no point with a minute left and a 4 goal lead.

So he should fight a couple of guys who outweigh him by 50 pounds? Great idea, coach.
