Speedy recovery on your surgery! You mentioned it before but I think you went in for heart/bypass surgery or something? All the best and keep active! It always amazed me at how quick you can recover from heart surgery but a nasty cold/flu can keep you bed ridden for a week.

The old original tower are rough. My partner works on one of the units there, everything has a beautiful yellow hue. A family member stayed in one of the units prior to her brain cancer operation, and it's not touch feel upbeat in a poor dimly lite room with a window facing a large duct of some kind taking up 90
99% of the window. Poor lighting, small hallways, small everything. McCaig tower is a luxery hotel in comparison. I toured the new cancer center and it's absolutely gorgeous, well spaced and of course as modern as can be.

Yes, the official opposition in Canada will be a party that represents the people of a single province, and not the people of Canada.
Bet you all the 'never going to vote for O'Toole' Liberals are quite happy with how this turning out, amirite?

I mean if this keeps going they might not even get a single seat.
What a fitting ending to a disastrous term as PM that would be.

I was going to post that poll. You beat me to it.
If it holds true the Liberals will lose official party status. Think you need 12 seats.

Hanging hats on polls taken over Christmas when no election has been called may lead to disappointment. The Liberals will do poorly, but not this bad. This is a reflection of how voters feel, not how they will vote when the time comes.

Maybe your angst is better aimed at the PM and Liberals for botching this last term so spectacularly.
It's on them that the country minus Quebec will be so intent on a change.
It may be going a little too far in the other direction in terms of policy and sure, the conservatives could do better than PP, but its clear right now that it's the better alternative by a country mile.
Especially heading into a Trump presidency.
Enough of being a laughing stock, and having leadership that's openly mocked both internally and externally.

Have we ever had a separatist party as the official opposition. Not that it will make a difference if the Cons get a large majority, it becames more about the memes at that point.
But Trudeau is literally going to Kim Campbell his party, and maybe its really needed and the Liberals need a chance to sweep away Trudeau and his friends and rebuild the Liberals back to a more center/center left party with fiscal sanity.
I just don't see anyone in the current Liberal Bench that is going to gain back the trust of Canadian voters.

I mean, it could always get worse. Or better. Depending on what you are hoping for.
