by the way what kind of beer is liked by the majority, I vote for kokanee, but whatever, if this matters at all, I think beer is beer but I know some people are real sticky about this.

Note: anyone who is worried, the leagues are fun. If practices are any indication, everyone will be good friends at the end of the season.
For jersey namebars, what is central doing? I will pay extra for lettering on my jersey...
As for beer and what not, I usually play by the rule that someone brings "pay per beer" for the first game or two, and then after that, if someone strikes out or does something bad they have to bring the beers next time. Someone suggested you'd have to bring beers if you said you'd show and you don't.
Hope to see team central out in full force on THURSDAY at 18:15 or so! Remember to wear red, and wear flames red t-shirts if you have them? Take note of my signature if you need help knowing what red is.

I'm indifferent towards the name bar. If most are getting one, I will. If not, I won't.

I already said we weren't doing name bars... if you want to cough up for your own central team, go nuts. I'm not paying any more.

Remember too Central that you can always take them in at the start of next season and get bars put on. Definitely not a big deal cause the lady has guaranteed our pricing.

Our Sunday night captain just sent out ours.
And wouldn't you freakin' know it... the ONE game we get to play you this year is the Sunday night of the weekend of Lyalta. First game of the two even.
As I look after Lyalta, I never get back in time (or any playing ability) for that first game....
Frick, I was looking forward to playing you guys.

Rhettzky... Is it too late to get these girls their own shirts? They each need a small, one wants #7 and the other wants #23. I'll grab their $200 tonight.

I tell you what, it's not too late to find two shirts that look like this...
...minus the text and get them to me before we have to take the bulk order in. This is cause the shirts are ordered, but the silkscreening hasn't been done yet.

gonna mix it up.
how does kokanee and/or coors light sound?
48 gonna be enough? (24 cans of each)
Any other beverages? Like pop or something for the people that don't the barley fare?
like a dollar for that.
Thoughts?
all proceeds over and above cost of beer/pop will go towards party a party at the end of the season.

Sounds good FKA. Mixing it up is good. $2 beer $1 soft drink. People try to bring change the first couple weeks!

You know, the last several years, we have been dog tired, hurt, hungover... you name it. So that double header was painful to participate in... everyone is like "kill me now".
So THIS year, we asked that our "bye" week be that one (every year we have played there is always one weekend you DON'T play.)
What happens? For the first time I can remember, there are no "bye" weeks.... and of all teams to play... it's you.... at 6:05.... Shoot me now. Please.

Haha...
There IS one way to even things out!!! I have already posted here (and haven't had much feedback) but I am holding one spot open for a CP team. The Central team doesn't have enough players to commit to that weekend.
For $200 (hell, for any price) I haven't found a more enjoyable tournament to play in....
Could I get a headcount from the SW and Central teams as to who WOULD want to play in that tournament/beer binge/camping weekend/gong fest? June 6 7 8 weekend.
If the CP teams can't field a team, I have to look elsewhere.

I'll tell ya what SJ, when I win the inaugural NSA League MVP award, "The Locke Trophy," named in my honour, I'll even sign the jersey for you.
It will read:
"To SportsJunky, my #1 fan. I dont know why you cant quit me, but heres the name of a good therapist and the conditions of my restraining order."

I'd be willing to go. I can't guarantee that I would do the camping bit, but I'd be there for the ball.

Sounds good. Im a Keiths man though, if the occasional Keiths is thrown in there, I'd be really happy, but I dont argue with the hand that provides my beer.
