Since people were talking about fav shows on Sunday, I just want to say that I am disappointed with people over on another site.
I created a march madness style tournament based on top TV shows in have been on within the past 10 years. Rankings were determined by votes and it saddens me that Big Bang Theory is a #1 seed and The Wire is a 15 seed.
I can imagine how different the seeds would be if I were to do that tournament here.
Anyways sorry to get off-topic a bit.

Yeah. She looked disappointed. Looks like she's not going to make it out of the season which is a shame.

If Dexter were to catch the Arson guy in the act, plant some bloodslides, and set everything on fire, this could work?
It's a far stretch, but I don't see why else they would start this whole new plot line of the fires this late in the season.

I had the same thought as you.
Also, maybe she might suspect Deb as the BHB? She just waltzed on over to the gas station to light the church on fire after she saw Dexter kill the Hanks kid. Though, I can't tell if it's her being stupid or the writers...

I'm not too happy about this episode.
I love this show, but wth was that? I'm pretty disappointed with what just happened.

I was a little confused as to why they killed off Isaac with still three episodes to go, but because I love this show I'm more willing to give it the benefit of the doubt and assume that there are still big things to come.
I personally think that Tom is going to wipe out Laguerta once she gets closer to discovering the BHB is Dexter. He's always had a close connection with the Morgan's and *may* even know of Dexter's dark passenger. Bit of a stretch on that last part but, I can see him playing a big part in making this investigation disappear.

At the same time, one of the complaints about this show has been its predictability (Dexter gains new enemy, doesn't kill him/her when the opportunity first presents itself, Dexter loses somebody important/almost gets caught, Dexter kills enemy).
That whole complaint must be out the window now though since they have killed off the main threat already. Its pretty unclear how the rest of this season will play out.

I hope not. I like the dirty cop angle.
Quinn is actually the reason I went out and bought a gold link-style chain.
That's where I draw the line though. I won't be dating any strippers unfortunately. Not out of principle. Just lack of resources.

Dex has a done huge 180 from the first episode of this show. Thats what stands out for this season, the transition is complete.
All stories are coming to an end, just 2 more episodes this season. Can't wait to see what he decided to do with Hannah now that he's told he he loves her.
LeGeurta and Tom made progress quite fast.

I really don't know what the writers have done to Dexter this year. The whole premise that made this show work and successful was that Dexter was a serial killer killing serial killers meanwhile having a twisted yet convicted code he ruled his actions by.
There has always been good wit with the characters and the mastermind main villain had a menacing and illusive element to them.
This season there really has been very little of that.
I still like Dexter because well its Dexter but this season has been very dissappointing inspite of the eye candy scenes with Hanna.

I'm still enjoying this season more than the last few. The formula that they'd been following was starting to get stale, so it's nice to see them mix it up a bit. I wish Dexter hadn't broken the code, but if that means that we don't have to see any more conversations with Harry, then it's worth it. My only real complaint about last night is that Laguerta's investigation should be a lot more suspenseful than it's been, but maybe that's still coming in the next two episodes.

So far for me the only menacing character as far as a holy crap is this guy ever dark was Speltzer and they had him killed off too quick. I honestly thought the show would have had him going after Deb and along the way continuing to rack up missing girls.
That guy was disturbing and it would have liked him to have been the main villain oh well.
The Sirko character was well acted and good too but again killed off and I am left wondering where is the hook here in the last 2 episode.
The investigation it doesn't grab me as a viewer and if Dexter ends up killing Hanna in the end, so where is the drama in that.
The only thing i see as a possible twist is Hanna kills Deb in rage when Deb confronts here yet again. It could be where they go but I don't see that happening.
This season has been more like a bunch of mini short lasting story lines.

So did Deb dose herself in order for Dexter to turn on Hannah? Really the only thing that makes sense, since like Hannah said she would have got the job done, and the water wouldn't have been so easily traceable.
I still find it strange how they completely cut off the Ukrainian storyline from the first 9 episodes. Similar to what they did in season 3 with Jimmy Smits.
Oh and Dexter was a complete moron for immediately going after his mother's killer while LuGuerta was investigating him. Pretty easy for them to reason that Dexter would be behind his disappearance (even despite what actually happened).
