the KHL is a bit of a grey area, as the NHL doesn't have this standing agreement. So rights might be held in perpetuity.
That's how it was the last time I looked last year; not sure if anything has changed.

Yeah technically we still hold the rights to Rushan Rafikov.

I was looking for some video on another player, and I came across this guy:
Ty Henricks is a 6'5",201lb LW who started the year with Fargo of the USHL, putting up 9 points in 28 games, but was traded to Muskegon, where he had 10 points in 19 games with increased ice-time and responsibility. He's a Shattuck St. Mary alum who plays a physical game and has a good shot. Best of all, he moves well. He's committed to Western Michigan for next year.

I'm really hoping the flames will get a new core piece in this draft.

I don't think so. Not anymore. Even though there is no transfer agreement, I believe clubs can only hold rights until they turn 27, because that's UFA age anyway.
Rafikov turned 28 in May.

Nope. Because there is no transfer agreement with Russia, the draft rights are held indefinitely until the player signs a NHL contract.

Only players I want nothing to do with are Sale and Cristall, personally, from that list.

Please flip hanifin into another pick around this spot. Grabbing 2 of these guys would be such a boost to the prospect pool. At that point I wouldn't mind grabbing a high floor player like Wood or Barlow and then swing for the fences on Simashev Yager Musty or Cristall

Sale has questions about his defense and compete, Cristall is small and slow.

Focused on watching a bunch of Perrault over the last few days, I'm almost solely locked in on taking him if he's there @ 16 he just seems to stand out all the time.
The only real knock is skating, but I think it can be improved with NHL training. His net front presence and scoring touch reminds me a bit of Tkachuk, he also plays RW but is a LHS so could end up being a good off-wing trigger man on the PP.
He played a ton with Smith & Leonard but looked to drive the offense for both most of the time. I think he could end up being a very impactful offensive threat in the NHL,

Sale =Zadina I.e all world skill, hearts half in the game.
Cristall = gawl I can't even come up with a comparative. His skill and talent are like top 5 but his skating is .... as it stands now, not going to translate to the NHL in any capacity.

Admittedly, I haven't watched much of Musty, but from a brief highlight video, he does seem to like to attack the middle of the offensive zone, and this particular video I watched, he seemed to have a lot of effort coming back on the defensive side of the puck as well... I wouldn't be against drafting Musty if that's who the Flames scouts think is the best player available.

Agreed 100% on Perrault. I've been overlooking him all year due to the fact he's a winger and I assumed the Flames would be looking to add a Center of Defenseman after drafting Pelletier and Coronato in recent years but Perrault looks poised to be a top-line winger if he keeps this momentum.
Not that stats tell the whole story, but this season in the NTDP program:
[63 GP]
53 Goals
79 Assists
132 Points
2.09 PPG
"He scored 132 points at the NTDP this season, 15 more points than the previous record-holder for a single season, Auston Matthews."
"Fantastic puck touch and deception in tight quarters. Creative player. Easy to identify his upside as an NHL prospect: Top two/leaning top line NHL forward who will have massive impact on the PP. Skating has room to improve, but his mechanics are not poor."
