Yeah, the defense was not good tonight, but the offense should have still been in the field but a very soft holding call nixed that.

The Bombers would have driven down the field anyways after.
Without the 2 picks in the endzone we would have lost by 10.

I was satisfied with the game overall. It sucks losing, but there are some positives to be taken away from the game. I think Jake is the real deal. The playoffs is what matters most anyway.

I don't like the loss, but our passing attack looked good for the first time all season.
Yes, the D let us down, but I don't think you can ignore the short week, and the massive minutes they played the last two games due to the O being unable to stay on the field.
There's a lot to build from off of this game. Two in a row now against the basement dwellers up North. Time to build some confidence.

I’m probably jumping the gun, but is this the start of the quarterback torch being passed on? What impressed me about Maier last year was his accuracy and ability to move the chains with confident throws. Looks like he’s continuing that this year — that’s probably the best defence he’ll face all season.
Still a long ways to go but if they’re only able to sign one of them next year I think we’re going to get a clear answer pretty soon.

Meyer(?) looked quite good. Yeah thought he had a bit of a noodle arm after watching last year but looked good today. Nice to have a guy who can scramble a little bit and make throws.

Losing a tossup to Winnipeg is kinda irrelevant, especially when you consider the circumstances coming into the game
Stamps will be in the 2/3 spot...we know they can beat anybody in a one game elimination
