I think it's stupid that I have to start treating Broncos games like they matter again. If they win this weekend they are right in it for the division.

Insanity. No, I don't think they will win the division but I have to watch each game knowing that there is something at stake that wasn't 3 weeks ago.

"This is predicated on losing Gerald McCoy. If that doesn't happen, this doesn't happen, we don't claim Haynesworth," Dominik told me Wednesday night, referencing McCoy's season-ending biceps injury. I've liked Mayock for years on NFL Network during draft time, you just 100% believe everything he says. Got such a mathematical way of talking about players, I love it.

Theismann should not be on TV, at least as a commentator. Hated him on MNF too. Even though he wasn't great on it either, I loved how much Kornheiser used to chirp him when they were a broadcast team.

Theismann is a jackass. My brother worked with him at ESPN and said the guy would sleep through meetings and act like a celebrity all the time.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty common knowledge that Theismann is generally despised in the broadcast world.

They should have hired Lawrence Taylor to be the producer, at least Theisman would have to sleep with one eye open.

I've wanted the Vikings to hire Mike Mayock in any capacity. He'd instantly help with the scouting and drafting of any team that hired him.

Bush was outstanding last night vs SD. Broke the Raiders alltime record of most yards from the line of scrimage 242 yds, 157 rushing and 85 recieving.
That has been held by the great Bo Jackson.

Bush has been a Chargers nemesis the past couple years. Last year I used him as a bye week replacement when the Raiders played the Chargers and he had something like 126 yards and a TD. He is one of the best backup guys in the league, and given the chance can put up good numbers. I wonder if a few teams will be sniffing around guys like him and Ben Tate this offseason.

Edit last year Bush ran for 104 and 95 yards in the Raider wins over the Chargers with TD's in both. He also had 31 receiving yards the first game. Chargers D might be willing to take their chances with McFadden since Bush doesn't struggle against them.

In everyone's opinion, what is more likely to happen....Colts go winless or the Packers win every game?

I dont think the Pack have any shot at going perfect myself...they have the 5th hardest schedule remaing in the entire NFL according to th elias sport bureau people and a defense that is living on the edge, but i do think that Indy has a real chance to copy the Lions of 08. I dont think either will happen in the end though.

More likely to happen? Colts go winless for sure, I'm sure that McCarthy and the Packers couldn't care less about 16-0, they just want a Super Bowl so they will rest their starters down the stretch. The Colts and Curtis Painter are brutal. I'm sure one of these weeks a victory will fall into their laps accidentally, but I think we will see 14-2 from the Pack and 1-15 from the Colts. Just my opinion.

In non-NFL news, that's another reason to follow the Irish. He's the colour guy for all their games on NBC. Listening to him right meow.

0-16 can only be the Lions record that was a truly horrible team, and had fans coming together to cheer on the perfect season for them. 0-16 is special.

Philadelphia Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson will be inactive Sunday after he missed a team meeting on Saturday morning, a team source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter

The "dream team" has quickly become "team implode".

I think it's very clear who the MVP for this season is.... Peyton Manning. To go from a perennial 10+ win team to potentially 0-16, there is no question who is most valuable to their team. They should double the amount he gets paid.

Denver went the entire 1st qaurter without attempting a pass. Running the ball right down the Chiefs throat too.

Problem is, both McGahee and Moreno have gone out with injuries. Good start on the road for Denver though.

BTW...Marc Mariani ran another punt back for a TD today. Who says a small tennis player from the High Line can't make it in the NFL?!
