If that's the case, I suppose I see what you're saying, but I find it difficult to separate the two, as I imagine a lot of time not spent in the room would be spent in the older, more spectacular part of the hotel.
FWIW, supposedly the medium-term plan for the hotel is to convert the Gate House wing into a sort of "family" wing, with larger renovated rooms to include things like bunk beds, etc... Though I'd assume this work will wait until the renovation at the Rimrock is complete.

Yeah sorry I don't have my phrasing down.
But yes the building that isn't the original building.

So we offer to go buy what he needs because we need it done. He finally goes to a buddies to grab the stuff needed. Gets under the sink and he says I have to think about the p trap. Finally does the rest but can’t do the kitchen he doesn’t have the parts. I’ll be back tomorrow.
Messages midday Friday. My daughter fell. I can’t come. Saturday I check on his daughter. Spent all night in hospital broke her wrist. I’ll come Monday. Sunday asked for a picture again although he has them all.
Monday don’t hear anything. Call no answer. Text no answer. Tuesday 7 am messages and say I’m really sorry my friend died Sunday night. I’ll come today and finish everything. Few minutes later my best friend committed suicide I can’t come back I’m too messed up.
Today I see him liking posts and people recommending him for a plumber.

It would have been better if Bankai was the plumber and thanked that post.

Parks Canada agreed to extend the pilot for the use of the space as patios this year as they continue to discuss the long term plans
https://banff.ca/banffave
Quote:
For the long-term, Banff Town Council decided on May 13 to hold a vote on August 12 on whether or not to have a pedestrian zone on Banff Avenue every summer.
The pedestrian zone fully opens for the May Long Weekend and Parks Canada has approved continuation of the pilot to include restaurant patios and retail displays, while working with the Town on future decisions about commercial activity in the public realm.
The pedestrian zone will continue until Thanksgiving Long Weekend or until a few weeks after the August 12 vote, if the majority vote against a pedestrian zone. For details, visit banff.ca/Vote
The decision to hold a vote was triggered by a petition to change council’s decision to have an annual pedestrian zone from May Long Weekend to Thanksgiving Long Weekend. A petition is part of a democratic process enabled by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) with specific requirements.
The pedestrian zone will be in the same format as in 2023, inclusive of commercial development and the roadway open to pedestrians, bicycles, skateboarders, and Roam Transit. Cyclists and skateboards must travel slowly and must yield to pedestrians.

Ive been in Banff National Park a lot over the past 30+ years, Ive only gone into the town of Banff maybe 7 times...3 of those were just to watch hockey games. The rink is nice. I dont find hanging out in the town appealing at all.

His post is living rent free in your head.

What are the odds a dude like that is one of those guys that won't declare his citizenship when he heads back across the border, claiming he doesn't have to.

Looks to be packing up so this must be his travel day shirt. Wasn’t willing to show his colours the last 4 days. Could tell he was a proud American with the expensive American Eagle wrap on the front of his tricked out tow behind Jeep, but no MAGA signs until today.

Is there a single children's book artist who understands that you can’t see a star through the shadow of the moon!?!? It is repeated in every single book that has an image of a moon that I can find… driving me insane.

Have a heart, some of the younger stars need a place to rest from all the shine.
