Then if you don’t want to understand what they are perhaps you should refrain from commenting about them as to not look like a fool
As for their longevity it’s low hanging fruit to prevent discrimination lawsuits and major investment firms use them in evaluating investment decisions. As long as share prices and lawyers show an advantage to having them they will exist.

It's still as factual as it is today. Facts. The united states is responsible for a lot of wars and the Russian Ukraine war is one. I'm sorry this hurts your feelings.
I'm not the first to believe this and won't be the last. If you don't like that opinion then too bad, I couldn't care less what you think hehe.

I replied to that post. Maybe instead of acting like you're 10, try to follow along. We both know you're a sweetheart in real life and would never talk to anyone in real life like you do on the internet.

US/NATO to blame for Russia invading Ukraine? DEI policies are the reason for 'shoddy' secret security'?
Good lord, the bubbles some of you live in, yikes. At least open a hatch in there for some fresh air or something.

There is a number of opinion based articles that do say US/NATO is responsible for the war in Ukraine. No fact just someone's opinion.

And I’m sure you can find some opinion articles on how global warming is caused by Jewish space lasers. That doesn’t make it true.
People who believe in conspiracy theories are gullible idiots. Like DEI racist guy and the Russia supporting morons from this thread.

The fact that some will use opinion based articles and claim it as fact is what troubles me.

I believe it was Bill Clinton who had made lifetime SS protection changes to former Presidents. Previously it was for life but was reduced to 10 years to reduce costs. Obama changed it again afterwards.
I know the secret service is taking a lot of flak here but truthfully this is such a one in a million type scenario. It's just so rare. The level of protective detail for former presidents and the level of background checks, security advances and more are astonishing. Every detail is scrutinized. Add more to people who are currently running for President such as Trump and then POTUS is even more to the point where most people just can't believe it.
The fact that this loser got this close and was able to fire off rounds is shocking. Sure he may have wanted to do it but getting this close involved some planning but probably some jaw dropping luck at the same time. A series of events that lead to him being able to come this close.
I am sure we will hear about some talk about security lapses and concerns but it really does become a fine balance. The SS have the ability to override the President and US Military regarding security detail but need to trend carefully.
The crazy part is how this bozo's unbelievable luck and split second ability to pull this off will end up inconveniencing an unimageable amount of people and costing taxpayers everywhere a shocking amount of billions in additional security costs

I think the other thing to consider is his campaign is planning events and has a huge hand in things. So they may be picking sites and locations to make their candidate accessible or appear in certain ways and the SS doesn’t have much say but to try to protect. He’s not afforded the same protection as the president.
Still this looks certainly like there was a screwup here.

Thread contains about two dozen bat#### crazy GOP campaign ads from the last 10 years wherein they shoot either Democrats at large, Democrat politicians, Democrat policies (???) or analogue stand-ins for Democrats.

Yeah, but Biden used the word “bullseye” so they’re basically even according to my little squirrel brain.

Wasn't there also an actual shooting at some outdoor event (for some reason, I want to say at a park, but that seems weird) where some congressmen were shot? I'm assuming those shot in the incident were also Democrat congressmen. I don't recall any incident where GOP congressmen have been targeted.

I for one think it's hypocritical of all the people who cheered the assassination of Bin Laden to tell us that we should care someone tried to kill Trump. After years of using some of the most hateful and inflammatory rhetoric seen from an American politician in generations, publicly lying and embarrassing the country on an hourly bases, for him the be surprised that someone would value his death more than their life is completely unsurprising. I think this is firmly in the #### around and find out category of life, he and his supporters incited violence, and now they expect unity in the face of it.
