This has been discussed over and over. And reported. Stone was unwilling to talk to Calgary about an extension. He was more than happy to not only talk to Vegas but actually to sign a contract within days. He also refused other teams, not just Calgary. Vegas was where he wanted to go. It’s about as certain as you can get.

Vegas was #1 for Stone it was confirmed by Stone and Dorion that's why the poor return.

No other team would trade for him as a rental unless they could talked to him

It was blown but it sounds like it was blown a little bit after the puck went in. It's hard to say for sure though without being able to go frame by frame.

Someone mentioned Barkov earlier. He’s good but I think in Huberdeau we might have landed the better player.

When were they over...they aren't really missing anyone from the lineup and have ran with this lineup most of the cup run. Sure their entire 30 man roster right now would be over, but that's how it works in the playoffs. The roster they've dressed night in and night out would be under the cap and to me that's what matters.

Broissoit and Quick make about the same amount and that's the only major roster change but hasn't really been a factor.

They really didn't abuse the Stone LTIR space like they did last year but it's an easy narrative to push.

Maurice’s calmness tells me more. Bob never had that puck covered and it was knocked in. No one stopped playing because of a whistle. It’s really a non-event to me.

Closer to interference that the commentators think. Hill might have been a little impeded in lifting his glove hand by Lomberg. Probably goes in anyway though.
