Badosa takes the opening set 6-4. Leylah is playing well, but Paula is playing just a little bit better and man she is hitting the ball a ton tonight.

Oh well, Badosa fully deserving of the win today. 6-4 6-4 but it was a battle out there and Leylah played great, Paula was just too good.

At least we now have uniformity across all the slams. I actually don't mind this decision especially for Wimbledon as I have no desire to watch Reilly Opelka continue to crank out unreturnable serves for hours on end.
