It’s gut check for this team. They have to prove they can deliver when it’s on the line. They screwed up in the 3rd, but get a 2nd chance here.

I view it the opposite... the Stars needed to conjure so much energy to tie the game up hopefully they have an energy dump going into OT.

So I've been watching on a delay but obviously with the 3rd ending I've caught up... my summary is,

1. Bennett is amazing, as is Dube;
2. Gaudreau has been a bit better tonight, but Monahan hasn't particularly;
3. Way too much sitting back in the 3rd, which is why you end up taking penalties;
4. I know he's let in 4 goals but Talbot has actually been great. And I'm not one to pump Talbot's tires usually. The tying goal is absolutely not on him, and he was holding them in it through all those PKs.
5. I'm calling Mangiapane to win it in OT.

Again, if Lindholm tries to corral a bouncing puck and skate it behind, knowing there are Stars all around him, and fumbled it, it's a tap in for a Stars player. He made the smart play IMO to not try and be too cute.

Watching again, he didn't get all he wanted on the slapper because a Stars player bumped him, and it changed the angle on where he hit the boards too. It is not like he had all sorts of time and 4 ft from his net.

Talbot is the MVP in this game for sure, he has been outstanding....
