And with that we have more than twice as many points as United and Everton in the same number of games played.

Spurs have loaned Danny Rose to Newcastle for the remainder of the season with an option to buy. This window has been great. It's going to be painful for us at times, but IMO we needed to clear Rose and Eriksen out. They've been magical at times, and I do have a soft spot for both, but their attitudes were a problem I think.
Now if we can land a striker, that would be great. Apparently Olivier Giroud is in the mix. So maybe we can just go without....

Again and again and again he has shown he is not good enough. He is taking time away from a kid in the academy.

I dont expect a striker at this point and I dont mind
Would rather wait for summer to get a new striker and a new cb
January purchases are usually limited to wantaway players if it's from a club in the big 5 leagues, or like what united and spurs have done, and I like all 3 a lot, buying from portugal and holland
Jose has options now, bergwijn can play anywhere from 7 to 10, lo celso is getting comfortable, gelson can play all over midfield, ndombele is getting fit (and I dont buy the media stuff about issues between the two, think people are looking for it)
Fernandes is gonna be such a great add for united, who are severely lacking in final 3rd creativity

Honestly, I'm all for giving Troy Parrot a couple of games up front. I know he's young, but that means the fans are likely to be patient with him and give him a chance to develop.

Transfer Deadline Day is here! I'm curious if Bowen could help West Ham survive. But I'm also tired of West Ham's owners only enabling spending on transfers when fans are revolting.

I think Bowen is a good player actually, but it looks like a bizarre move to another forward when clearly they need help at the back?

There's talk about getting a RB, but the clock is ticking...

looks like United are getting Odion Ighalo on loan. Actually fine with this, although I certainly would have prefered Rondon.

I liked Ighalo when he played for Watford. He's not amazing, but he's decent.

It's extremely low risk, worst case you walk away when the loan is up. I find it odd to see people mocking it online.

too many people think they are experts about anything after playing Football Manager and watching YT highlight videos with ####ty music. I reckon he's also not splashy or shiny enough.
if you look at what United are looking for, it's hard to dislike this one. Knows the league (and did well there), boyhood United fan apparently and won't throw a fuss when he's on the bench. United simply need another option from the bench, he fulfills that criteria. Takes a bit of pressure off Greenwood too. Hope they get it over the line in time.

I think the only downside is he infects the team with Coronavirus.

gives the medical department a new challenge. There they are, thinking they've already seen everything after dealing with Phil Jones ...

Of course if he gets the virus he becomes unplayable on the pitch because defenders won't go near him. Diabolic, genius plan I must say.

As long as he keeps the patented Phil Jones face we're good.

I hope west ham go down again, spending like drunken sailors all the time, especially brutal when they just wait for other clubs to agree fee on a player they dont even need and then come in at the 11th hour and poach the player last minute.
