I'm guessing neither are prosecuted for anything they did together. Rather, I'm guessing Jimmy goes to jail for all the #### he did as 'Saul', none of which included Kim.

Oh I think it will absolutely come up in the final episode; I think it'll be a key plot point. As I said, I think ultimately the Albuquerque prosecutors won't bother, she'll get away from this fraud she perpetuated scot-free, and it'll crush her.

The reasoning behind why the DA's office won't prosecute is mostly irrelevant. Whether it's because of the reasons Kim give Cheryl—no physical evidence and only one (extremely unreliable) corroborating eyewitness—or because of something else: meh. Maybe the DA will brush it aside as fantastical babbling from the kook ex-wife of the most notorious lawyer in the city, who threw her career away and left town to go settle in America's wang. Maybe they'll decide that although a fraud was perpetuated there's no criminal charge that'll stick, everyone else involved is already dead, so... who cares?

Cheryl says to Kim "I could sue you in civil court, I could take everything you've got," and Kim ruefully replies "... Yeah." There's nothing left to take from the miserable sad-sack that Kim has become; it's an entirely empty threat, it's like threatening to murder a suicidal person.

Dunno about dial-up providers but maybe her internet browser had Ask Jeeves as the default search engine lol, the same way Bing is the default for Explorer/Edge now.

That was a hilarious part in a very sad scene.
1.33% of New Mexico 1.11% of Nebraska homes with an internet connection used dial up in 2017, so it was probably marginally higher in 2010. Marion doesn't have a cordless phone in her kitchen in 2010, it's still and old wall phone with a long extension cord. I think this is her first laptop? I could see her or Jeffy just arranging the simplest, cheapest internet connection for her.

Marion lives in Nebraska, but it's only slightly behind New Mexico on that list, so the point still stands.

What a talented actress - real life Rhea is effusive and giddy. Kim is introverted and reserved.

It sucks this universe is finally coming to an end but it was great to get this prequel/conclusion to Saul’s story and the movie to see what happens with Jesse. I am have been debating rewatching breaking bad again after all of this.

What great television. They managed to make a 10 minute scene, where nothing of note happens, in small time Florida full of tension and excitement.

As for prosecution, I'm really not sure how you could pin Howard's death on Kim. Realistically, how was she supposed to know that a supposedly dead gangster that her husband was involved with would randomly show up at their place and shoot Howard.

You could get her for the fraud with the cocaine stuff, but that really didn't get that far and only came to light as a result of the death.

What happened to Howard was really all Saul's doing for getting himself involved with the Salamanca's. Even then, you can get Saul for all of his fraud, money laundering, etc.. but pinning Howard's death on him, from a criminal law liability perspective, would be pretty difficult.

Poster for tonight's episode

The last three episodes have felt like one big epilogue to the entire Breaking Bad universe, can't believe it's ending tonight.

Going to be a sad day for TV after tonight.

Why oh why did they have to kill off Lalo? His spin off would have been epic!

Any chance it ends with Walt Jr. coming in in his wheelchair and unloading 6 bullets into Jimmy?

Lalo being killed off doesn’t preclude him from being in a spin-off anymore than it prevented Mike and Gus from being in BCS after being killed off in BB. Don’t know if I’d be crazy for a spin-off about the cartel. I think I am happy how this will wrap things up. The show creators and writers should move on now. I am interested in what they can come up with.

How I want the series to end:
Jimmy escapes yet again under a new identity and spends the rest of his life in miserable existence being a janitor in the obscurity of rural Nebraska or Minnesota.

How I think the series will end:
Jimmy is apprehended by FBI/DEA and gets killed in jail by the Salamankas (Tuco?) and/or other cartel people while awaiting trial.

I'd be surprised if they kill of Jimmy. Too much potential for profitable one-off specials.

Hank killed Tuco in BB, so that probably won’t happen.

He could end up in Manitoba. Worse than jail?
