Nothing in the NW... absolutely NOTHING. This is getting frustrating.

Going by the Enviro Can radar, looks like the centre of the storm passed just south of Airdrie on a ESE path. Probably just clipped the NE.

West side of city hasn't seen a drop yet, and likely wont.

You could always just sell iphone's for a ridiculous mark-up to your fellow CP'ers to pay for the damage.

Sky keeps getting darker in my area of the NW, some decent wind gusts, but no precip yet at all. What a jip!

Will the consequences ever be the same?

Don't worry, I already backtraced him to the depths of the NE

Like I said, nothing spectacular... This was about as neat as the cloud formation got... until I got pummeled by the rain.

About 20km NW of Airdrie around 4:45 - 5 p.m.

Wow, love that shot! Canola fields are gold (no pun intended) for such a contrast versus that black sky.

What's your Flickr photostream link?

It kinda worked out because the sun was behind me and wasn't hiding yet, and lit up the canola fields. I would have got a better one if my car didn't start a mini grass fire and I had to abort another location about 5 mins prior.

Got it bad in the far NE (Saddleridge) dented cars and shingle/siding damage not so much in south Airdrie only light pea sized hail and lots of lightning.

It's a better shot than you give yourself credit for.

Jay, your pic is awesome. My mom (in Nova Scotia) is always nagging for photos and since I'm too lazy to drive out there, I'm going to steal yours and send it to her. Thanks for bailing me out.

Yup, that is exactly where I went. I was right under it but east of the hail. I turned around just west of Balzac. I'm pretty sure I got a pic or two of a funnel cloud, if I did I'll post them.
