Which reminds me, are EA downloader purchases multiplatform? Or do I have to buy for just Windows or just Mac?

I think Steam will have it as a SteamPlay(this should be the case if the retail is a Hybrid)...which means both platforms. Never used EA Downloader, so I don't know. Note, it's not a steamplay right now, but who knows if it'll change launch..other games are.. like Civ 5 for example
I've been reading it'll be a hybrid release, (1 disc for both Mac/Win) but can't find an official confirmation...

I have a mid-term on Thursday too. Looks like I'm failing that.
Still need to finish Leliana's Tale, Golems of Amarrak, and Witch's Hunt.

Just finished Witch Hunt. What a turd. Decent boss battle but otherwise a serious cop-out.

can you post some story spoilers for it? the only reason i'd even consider playing Witch Hunt is for the supposed Morrigan story wrap-up, but the reviews are terrible for it so i haven't bothered

Ugh. I played Witch Hunt before Golems of Amgarrak. Now I need to reimport my character from the end of Amgarrak into Witch Hunt before importing into DA2. Lame.
Also - is there any difference that anyone knows of between pre-ordering through the EA Store as opposed to Steam?

Quick question: I played DAO, but I did not play any of the expansions. Do I have to play through those before being able to play DA2 if I want to import my BAMF arcane warrior?

You can't import your character. DA2 imports a number of the Warden's key choices from Origins, Awakenings, Amgarrak and Witch Hunt. If you build a new character you choose from a selection of pre-set storylines so it probably either prompts you for the key decisions you never actually played through, or makes them up.

It prompts you for choices, or you can pick one of three pre-determined paths.
Also, so far, the game is awesome!
