Apparently it wasn't Facebook's decision to bring it down either:

This page

...page, the blog and the emails. The rest of us, are now back without him after
he backed out. This is another scare tactic from the Islamic
extremists. We won't fall.
Pictures you were unable to post on the 20th? Check the forums for interviews."

Do Mohammad cartoons offend you? Assuming you're a practising Islamic.

Not really no. To me it seems the whole purpose of this is simply egg a group on because they know they don't like it. There seems to be no reason to draw these pictures. It's like we are all back in junior high and high school where you would do something to someone just because you know they didn't like it and to just see their reaction.

Except Jr. High kids don't have nukes, armies, and laws which allow for honor killings of family members by other family members. Going the other way, could we not argue that the Islamic Extremeists are the ones doing "something" (in this case taking pride in and acting out acts of terrorism, sociological control, oppression of women and girls, and racism among many other things) because they know the west won't like it and want to see our reaction?

I'd say drawing comics is a lot better than going to war.

One is far worse, but both are completely unnecessary.

Perhaps.

But completely necessary if you mean unnecessary because someone might be offended and we don't want to piss him off cause he'll blow us all up.

I've never looked at a single comic or picture since the beginning, but I support drawing them not because I support offending people, but because I support pissing off the stupid morons who try to scare us all with their ridiculous death threats.

They can all burn in hell.

I hope to "God" that soon enough we can agree.

Education and technology are, imo, the best start to a way out of this mess.
