that you shouldn't mess with the anthem when people are busting to sing it.

The way Canadians have been belting out O'Canada in the last few weeks should tell those who ordered up the horrible, unrecognizable version in the opening ceremonies shouldn't repeat the same mellow mistake in the closing ceremonies. Throw us a bone.

If you think it was bad at the opening ceremonies, you should have heard it at the two dress rehearsals.

I was at the one on the Wednesday two days before. Our anthem was so stylized it was barely recognizable. It was all the people were talking about after the show. So many people who attended complained about it that they did change the arrangement, but not enough. It still irked many including myself.

I'm in Boston (airport right now) and if you didn't know the Olympics were on right now, you would have no idea. No one at bars are watching the games or talking about it. It's pretty much like any normal day.

How much I hate the TSN announcers, especially McGuire. I never really disliked McKenzie but during the olympics he has been getting under my skin.

Stephen Brunt had a very nice video montage of the Olympics on CTV. Sums it up very nicely.

For a team no one picked to finish higher than 4th or 5th, the US is going to have a very dangerous team if the NHL commits to the vodka drinking olympics.

. . . . . . that, unlike that Displaced fellow, I must be married to the right girl because we, not I, were watching about 8 hours of coverage every day (if I count the TV in my office) and the missus is a bigger hockey fan than I am.

Man.. is your wife anti sports or anti Canada or both? I watched more than 8 hours of hockey alone, even at work.
