Perry and Nash look pretty good IMO, but Getzlaf looks really sluggish. And with his shot, why is he not picking a corner when he's all alone in front?

god Pronger is an ape on skates. it's a good thing this is just Germany, him tripping over his own feet right in front of his goaltender like that against a quality team would spell trouble

Thornton looks very good so far. Babcock must have told him "just play like it's the 32nd game of the NHL season".

Also, I know Macguire has already drooled over him extensively this game, but Weber is very impressive. Just as solid as Keith and Doughty so far IMO.

It really isn't, when 95% of the game has been played in the German zone

Staal-Crosby-Iginla look pretty discombobulated. I don't think any of them know where the other is out there.

The other lines have been fine, with the exception of Getzlaf, whose hockey sense was on hold in that period.
