I look at the poster and their own merits. Regardless of the jersey they wear.

I was once fair and objective. I was once a moderator here. It's actually a thankless job playing the heavy. Hats off to those currently doing it. I originally nominated three of them. All doing an excellent job.
Vancouver Canucks fans are like vermin. Like locusts. Keep 'em at bay or it becomes an infestation. In the bad old days, there'd be the daily Jarome Iginla racial epithet (all coming from Vancouver Canucks fans from a multitude of IP addresses). There's no such thing as a rational Vancouver Canucks fan. Statistical data renders such a phenomenon as an aberation.
Sorry, but the whole proposition is flat out nuts. KevanGuy is right.

And a mod who is a Canucks fan is going to let that go? I doubt it. Fear mongering at its finest.

Unfortunately that is indeed the case.
Continuing to press your case is in fact trolling.
It is not fear mongering. It is in fact the case.

In fact the case is that the facts have been presented in the case. Case in point, the facts have been seen and the case can be closed because of the facts in question. This is a fact.

Do you have proof of the proof?

Calling me a locust is trolling. What's your point?
I think you're just afraid that if a Canucks fan were to become a mod your days here would be numbered.

I can see both sides of the argument. The whole 'CP is a Flames site so it should be moderated by a Flames fan' definitely has some merit, but to me I don't dismiss that an impartial poster may be as good at moderating this site as anyone......Canuck fan or not. I don't think a decent Canuck fan/mod would play the bias card, but maybe I'm wrong. I really don't think that would be the case.
Can't say I'm totally against a Canuck fan being a mod here.

LOL.
Because I say mean things about Vancouver Canucks? Get over yourself.
The predominant team ripped on CalgaryPuck is Calgary Flames.
Vancouver Canucks fans are indeed locusts.
Whereas Edmonton Oilers fans can be basically considered as precocious toddlers learning a new word, they rattle off a half-dozen prospect names as proof of the resurgent dynasty. They are the worst organization in professional hockey.
Vancouver Canucks fans are just terrible. Collectively and individually. Whether it's launching Denial of Service attacks or attempting to install moderators on a rival forum, it's all evil. Vancouver Canucks is not an exemplary organization and their fans are even worse. That, my friend, is a FACT.

I hate the Canucks. The Oilers I just dislike, I want them to miss the playoffs every year by 1 point.
The Canucks, I hope the time clock falls on all of them. If they make the playoffs and we don't I want to riot. If they ever won a cup that would be an affront to humanity on par with the Crusades.
I might even be persuaded that the jerk to not jerk ratio among Canuck fans is higher than elsewhere.
But even I think that there are some Canucks fans that are reasonable people and that it's not out of the realm of possibility that there's some that would actually bring something positive to the forum if given a chance.
I mean look at WCE, great guy, great poster, I'd consider him for a moderator. Or OILFAN #81. There's always a few savants

I think everyone is forgetting that CalgaryPuck owner Bingo once killed a Vancouver Canucks fan with his bare hands, while Josef the German killed an accomplice with the broken bamboo stick part of a Canucks flag.
Canucks fans should be fearful.

That's true, he stuffed the bodies into his Joel Otto signed fridge (which I have seen and touched, it's REAL!)
