That would have been one helluva good promotion if they would have won. Not that Pil needs any promotion in Saskatchewan....

Maybe they should sell "13 packs" in Riderland??
Hahaha.....this will never get old, and the possibilities are endless.

13th man didn't help out the Riders tonight! I'm only happy because my wife went to Saskatchewan last week with the cheerleaders to cheer on the Stamps and all they gave them to get ready was a tent with no power, no mirrors, and a freaking outhouse. Talk about classless. Great ending!

Hey isn't it up to the guy in the endzone to count the players?
Duval sucks though. how can you miss a grey cup winning field goal from 38 yards out?

I just couldn't motivate myself to watch the game even though the game is in Calgary. I checked the game out early in the first half but it's just not the same as when the Stamps are playing. I checked the half-time show with Blue Rodeo... LAME-O!!! I like their song but come on this is the Grey Cup!
I watched some other shows and then I put it back on TSN and saw the Montreal guys kneeling down and Calvillo lying down crying. The Als just won the Grey Cup. Wow, 2nd chance for Duval to kick the field goal to win it. It's only fitting that the last game in the regular season between the Riders and Stamps, the ref called the Stamps player offside on a short kick. That penalty killed the chance for the Stamps to tie/beat the Riders in that game. Stamps could have played at home in the West Final. I guess that's karma!
Anyways, from what i heard it was a hard fought game. Saskatchewan won the Grey Cup only to be nullified by the special team penalty. Too many men on the field. That is a sucky way to lose the game. Congratulation to Montreal Alouettes and of course Congrats to Saskatchewan Roughriders. Love it that the championship were won at the end of the game and not from halftime or even earlier.

I just perused some Rider message board and as I suspected...the losing fans are blaming OFFICIATING...it is so lame to do that.
Entertaining to read some of the meltdowns though.

For the last half hour I've been trying to find a photo of a guy I saw yesterday... he was wearing a green mexican wrestling mask and holding a sign that said:
"The 13th Man is Your Worst Nightmare"
If ANYONE can find a pic of this (or something similar -- apparently there were a few fans that had signs like this at the game), it would be greatly appreciated I thought I saw a photo of him on the internet or newspaper somewhere, but it may have just been at the parade...
As referenced in this article: http://www2.canada.com/calgaryherald...6-f0270c0e1d11

In the middle of Stephen Avenue, Dwain Theaker, a resident of Indian Head, Sask., stood dressed in a Riders jersey and a green-and-white Mexican wrestling mask, while holding a sign that said: The 13th Man is Your Worst Nightmare.

I'm a Riders fan, and that loss definitely had nothing to do with officiating. It was the right call. Pathetic that they lost the game by taking a too many men penalty.
