Umm depend on whether or not you're looking at Bayonetta & Darksiders which are both early January.
Both on the 5th actually.

I usually check here for release updates.

PC textures are quite low resolution actually. There are already texture mod packs out there to improve this by a great deal.

Actually, all that has been released are QnD (quick n dirty) texture mods, but the progress on these mods has been stalled, as it's come out that Bioware (accidentally?) released some of the PC DA:O textures without modifying them from the dumbed down console textures. Most of the PC textures were properly Phonged, but some are still the low-res console ones, hence the varying opinions on the PC textures. Bioware is apparently in progress to release all the proper textures, and the texture-modders are more or less playing wait and see on those.

BTW, you shouldn't be buying this game because basically you are giving money to Edmontonians to go watch the Oilers which means money is going down the drain which could goto otherwise worthy causes

Dual wield berserker/reaver is absolutely ridiculous. With Haste on it's almost unfair.

Good point.
I wonder if I should take my copy back then.

Does the itemization get better as the game goes on? I'm at the
Spoiler!
. I'm just finding that the weapons don't have any neat stats like Sword of Burning Rage or Axe of Crazy Times. I know you can have the mage cast spells on the weapons but do the weapons themselves start getting better (armor as well)?

Also, I have these runes in my backpack. I must have missed this in the manual but how do I apply them to weapons? I have the PS3 version if it makes a difference.

I was really hoping one of the party members you get would be that specialization... might have to grab a respec mod & try it out.

It's a tricky balance but loads of fun. Momentum is important to get as quickly as possible. In early levels you'll die a lot if you don't have a decent tank; the idea is to kill stuff as quickly as possible and not to take too many hits.
(spoiler)
Well, Oghren is a berserker and you can make him a reaver as well, every char gets 2 specs. But he's 2H. There aren't any dual wield warrior party members.

One warning, turning on Berserk, Blood Frenzy, and Momentum will make you a killing machine but it will kill your stamina in seconds. But don't put much into willpower. You need the attributes to go into dex, str, and con for health. You won't be wearing heavy or massive armor because you need your fatigue way in the negatives to be able to use berserk & frenzy & momentum and still use your other (very useful) dual wield talents. A good full set of gear with fatigue bonuses is important for this kind of character to not die a lot (Wade's Superior Dragonbone - medium is perfect).

Also, the respec mod is awesome!
(semi-spoiler)

I found Leliana to be a great rogue for traps/locks etc. but pretty useless in fights. Zevran was great in fights but couldn't unlock a thing. It's nice to be able to move a few skills/talents around.

For some reason I did not get a spec point for S___ (warrior from first town) at level 7. Anyone else have this problem?

Shen.

I didn't either.

Just got one at level 14, whereas everyone else has 2.

Not a big deal, in fact most of the specializations are pretty "meh". Especially since I'm a warrior so I never use him.

Anyone know what the deal is with paralyze runes? My DW warrior has a grandmaster paralyze rune in one hand and an expert in the other and they almost never work. I notice it work maybe one or two times an hour, and there's a lot of hits in that hour.

*spoiler

Geez, "commune with high dragon" my butt. I blow the stupid horn, get destroyed by the dragon. lol.

Anyways, I cheated with a gift chart so I can boost my approval rating. Apparently there's a possible foursome that can happen in the pearl.....

spoiler*

Love the game so far. I do wish the attributes gave more information, ie: putting pts into strength will give you this more attack, etc.

Follow the directions on that page. A weird raven will pop up in random places with a potion that will let you reset all your attribute points (from leveling or from quests/items), talents, skills, and specializations. Can't change races or classes.

Raven unlocks non-quest specializations too, if you wanted that.

Just finished. Without giving anything away, it's very cool how many of your dialog choices and side quest results impact the end. Great game.

Can anyone help me? My relationship with Morrigan is like 88% and I want the achievement which is sleeping with her. How do I do it? Take her somewhere or just through dialogue?
