Is anyone going to the game in LA on Monday? I might fly down for the day, there's a flight that gets in at about 1 pm Monday.

How easy it is to get around via transit from LAX to Staples Center?

Any recommendations for cheap places to stay Monday night close to or in between those places?

LAX to Staples Center is a pretty easy drive. You'd probably want to rent a car though. The cheap places to stay near LAX are in bad neighborhoods. You can find a room for around $140.00 in El Segundo/Manhattan Beach Area at places like Marriot Springhill Suites or maybe the Hilton Garden in, but you're probably not looking at anything less than that unless you were willing to stay a little further away, like Burbank or somewhere in the San Fernando Valley.

Husband and I are going to be there - we are catching the Sharks game as well on our mini road trip.
