Was kind of hoping for suspense, nothing to watch now :P
I'll keep my eye on the Barca match. If they lose by 3 goals or excatly 2-0 they're out if there's a winner in the Inter-Rubin match.

Edit: NM, Barca scored... now there really nothing to watch :P

Did anyone see that free kick by Ibrahamovic near the end of the Barca game? Holy what a hard shot straight to the goalie's head!! Great Power there.

No surprise that Beckham faces Manchester United. That seemed almost a certainty.

Liverpool get the easy draw as usual...Oh wait!

Down goes Madrid today. An early exit for those expensive transfers.

United roll on as everyone expected. Rooney, class again.

Good to see Becks back at home, standing ovation and chants of "Fergie, sign him up".

once the game was over it basically turned into a Beckham testimonial

Rooney was unbelievable though, he is just miles ahead of everyone on the pitch.

Its a shame there won't be a Man U/Madrid pairing this year though, I was really looking forward to ronaldo's return to old trafford, I think someone said its 6 straight years out in this round for Madrid

OL were quite impressive at the Bernebeu and likely the better side over the 2 legs. That being said, if Higuain doesn't miss an absolute sitter in the first half, the game may have been completely different. Assuming Bordeaux goes through, that'll be 2 French teams in the final 8, which I wouldn't have expected. Now if Inter can take out Chelsea...

Result of the Draw

Quarter-Finals
Tie A: Bordeaux v Lyon
Tie B: Bayern Munich v Manchester United
Tie C: Arsenal v Barcelona
Tie D: Inter Milan v CSKA Moscow

Semi-Finals
Winner of Tie A v Winner of Tie B
Winner of Tie C v Winner of Tie D

A pretty crap draw for Arsenal, even if they do slay the dragon that is Barca they would have to play Inter in the Semis. I think United has the easiest route of the Top 4 clubs remaining.

Ouch tough draw for Arsenal, and a French team is guaranteed in the semi finals.
