The graphics aren't significantly different, just...softer. The zoomed in scenes we've seen in previews often look more cartoony, but from a distance...

The thing that pisses me off is the new skill system which I think is complete bogus as well as only 4 player co-op.

The best times in D2 were when 6-8 would be doing the quests together, no longer is that possible.

I loved the pvp aspect of D2, joining a 8 person game where they were doing a Diablo run, declaring hostility and then owning them because my gear was incredible. And that was ten years ago......yikes.

I wonder what my wife will think when D3 comes out.

Is that ability really called 'snot razor'? Er, or it's the enemy.

It's the wonder of random name generators! Always enjoyed what it could pump out.

A friend and I did a couple weeks ago.

Game is wicked addicting and completely engaging still. Such a good game.

However, it will not run on OS X Lion - in-case you use a Mac. Run's fine in a virtual machine though

No invite here. Standard stuff though. I've gotten all my Blizzard beta keys through contests anyway.

Since they're doing beta key releases in phases (like with WoW) I'm not too concerned about waiting a little. Chances are some of us here will get a key eventually. Unfortunately for me, I got a Cataclysm beta key like 2 weeks before the expansion came out so it was useless.

Yeah the rumblings on the forums are saying the first wave was mainly press and fansites. As much as I want to play the beta knowing that the entire act can be completed in just over an hour makes me ok watching and waiting for release.

I'm betting that Blizzard is waiting to set it's release date on when SWTOR announces it's. Blizz tends to do this to hinder new "WoW killers", which is probably why Sony is not announcing a release.

Kinda like the Simpsons episode where Lisa creates a Barbie type doll only to have Malibu Stacy re-released with a new cowboy hat...

I don't think Blizzard is too worried about stopping SWTOR..... SWTOR is doing a plenty fine job of that itself!
