But seriously....you have to STOP IT!
Don't worry Rivers will help you out and make Jackson look good again this year, but hopefully not as good as Chambers.

I'm likin the look of my Shockey and Rice reaches. Shockey's had a great pre-season so far and Brees has looked his way early and often, just keep that boy "hydrated". And it looks like Rice is going to be the starter on a very run heavy team.

...my 2nd round Tom Brady pick has me a little concerned at the moment however. Hopefully that shoulder's just a precaution, and not all bunged up.

Yeah I took Brady in the 2nd round also. I think healthy he is going to have a stellar year but like you, this shoulder thing has me watching closely.

On the plus side, I drafted Favre as my backuo QB. What could go wrong?

I had my second draft last night - 12 teams:

QB: Cutler, Campbell (I left getting a back up too late)
RB: Gore, Moreanu, Rice
WR: Wayne, Holmes, Moore, Bennett
TE: Olsen
K: Kaeding

Not bad. If Rice and Moreanu hit like they are supposed to and Bennett and Olsen are top 3 receiving options in Chicago (along with Forte), I could be good.

I'm a little nervous about Gore. He was my first round, 9th overall pick.

Thoughts?

I like the Gore pick, but you need to handcuff Glen Coffee to him. I think you need more running back depth, but that's just the way I like to draft. Outside of that I really like your WR and RB's.

That's a good thought... who should I drop though? I really don't like Campbell, but I can't drop him permanently (barring injury) until after week 5 (Cutler's bye week). Should I go get Coffee, drop Campbell and limp on week 5?

Our league plays with actual defensive players and I don't have any room to drop a guy there either (I carry only the minimum).

This is just a reminder that the C league draft is Wednesday night. We are still waiting on a couple of people to sign up.

One more reminder that the C league draft is tonight. We're still missing 1 person so be sure to sign up so we can get this league going.

If that one person isn't in by an hour before your draft, Yahoo will switch to Offline Draft and you guys will be hooped.
Just keep that in mind.

Okay that isn't good. Does anyone know who hasn't signed up yet or if we need to does anyone else want to join?

Hi, I participated in my first fantasy football league ever yesterday. Can someone please tell me how good or (likely) bad my team looks. There's 9 teams in the draft:

QB: McNabb, Hasselbeck

WR: Roddy White, T.J. Housh, Lee Evans, Steve Breaston, Chris Chambers

RB: Drew-Jones, Steven Jackson, Chris Johnson, Jonathan Steward, Felix Jones

TE: Kellen Winslow, Zach Miller, Tony Scheffler

K: Gostkowski

Well my suggestion is by 1:00pm if that person hasn't signed up, post the league number and the password in this thread and first come first serve.

You need an even number of people.

QB's are both meh....but if they can both stay healthy, it's not a bad combo.

WR: Like your first two picks, Evans SHOULD be good this year, but it remains to be seen how TO affects the offense.

RB: Are solid.....very solid.

TE: I think Winslow will do well in TB, so I like that.

Just a questions, how many people were in this draft?

Not many, 9 teams. So everyone got good players. I guess it's hard to say how good the team is in isolation. I basically went with RBs for my first three picks. Didn't know what else to do.

Is Roddy White a decent pick in the 4th round? I don't know much about him.

As per Pagal's suggestion here is the league info. First come first serve for the spot.

League ID#: 807810 League Name: CalgaryPuck C League Password: fata

Draft is at 6:45 pm MST. If you can't make it, just pre-rank your players and auto-draft won't kill you.

Damn it, I forgot about the draft. I got there for my last pick. I have a pretty decent team though:

HB: Steven Jackson, Frank Gore, Joseph Addai, Jamal Lewis
WR: Brandon Marshall, Hines Ward, Santana Moss, Michael Crabtree, Devin Hester
TE: Kelen Winslow, Jeremy Shockey
K: Jason Elam
DST: New York Giants

RB: Ryan Grant, Ray Rice, Beanie Wells, Cedric Benson
TE: Brent Celek
K: Gostkowski
DEF: Baltimore, Arizona

I missed the draft also, but I am happy with my team. I might have prioritized WR a little more but there always seems to be good WR that come out of the woodwork.

You're going down Wolfwood in the first week, but after that I would be willing to send a TE your way for the right price.

QB: P-Man, Hassel
RB: All Day, MArrian Barber, Knowshon
WR: Welker, Royal, Antonio Gonzo, Cotchery, Hixon
TE: Gates, Vern Davis
K: Bironas
Def: Fins, Carolina
