Airdrop missles was in COD4:MW (replaced by mortar for COD:WaW). However, MW2 seems to want to have even more kill streak bonuses. Giving you the option to shoot guys from the helicopter (instead of a helicopter randomly shooting at people with no player interaction), and then a strategic nuke bomb after the helicopter.... too much. I can see a lot of people complaining about this. It is very frustrating to be spawn killed, or killed several times really quickly... the helicopter will certainly raise those frustration levels.

From what I saw, I think the helicopter (where your in it shooting), is like the one level from MW1 where your in the helicopter (the 2nd best level of the game). Except you don't have the big nuke, only the other 2 bullets/missiles

You can turn the auto-aiming thing on or off regardless of difficulty.

I enjoyed the single player campaign, but it didn't blow me away like previous versions. At times it almost seemed kind of tired and played out.

Apparently they're doing the midnight opening type thing for this game at EB tonight.

I'm going at like 10 to meet a friend at Bestbuy. He said there is already 10+ people in the line at like 6:45. Hopefully it doesn't get over 40 by 10PM.

I know eh? Like, if I came at 12:00 there'd be a good amount of people there, but I'd get my game by 1:30, so I get it an hour an half later than those in the front. Is waiting for 6 hours beforehand really that necessary for an extra hour of gameplay? I am going at 10 but me and my friend are getting something to eat beforehand. I just hope they don't sell out of the Hardened Editions, I went to EB on Friday and they sold out of the pre-orders.

My friend said they got 50 for the 360 and 50 for the PS3 of the Prestige Edition (ones with the STUPID goggles), so I am sure they will have plenty, but I hope pre-orders don't f*** me. If they sell out of hardened and only have prestige I am going to kill myself for doing it, but I will buy the Prestige.

We have Tropical storm IDA going on right now I dont think alot of people will be hanging out tonight. I could be wrong though. Its 9:21 my time and I'm gonna leave at 10 to head over there and sit in my car. I already have a copy waiting so I wont have to deal with all that other jazz

maybe they wanted to get a case of the monster energy drink for the time they're gonna waste tonight. lol

eek, I was hoping I could leave work during lunch tonight and head over to the Marlborough EB, and be back within 20-30 mins. Looks like the lines might be longer then I expected...maybe I should just try the Marlborough Walmart at 5 am right after work?

I'm hoping they will have some copies there...if anyone does try going to the Marlborough EB/Walmart, can you post here if they have any copies and what the lines are like? I can check this thread on my Ipod during breaks and see what my options are lol

Well my friend at BB told me 100 total Prestige Editions which are the $170 ones, so I am sure they got like 500+ of the normal copy. I have a pre-order at EB that I can sell you tomorrow if you can't find one tonight.

My guess is no. Previous midnight releases I have gone to the ONLY thing they do is open the door and sell the game, when I went for the Halo one, they even had the rest of the store blocked off. I assume they won't do it because it will just take more time, time they won't want you to have.

They told me today that the rate that people are coming in to purchase pre orders today he is going to have to turn people away and he wouldn't tell me the exact amount they had on hand but he did say that they had over 1200 copies sold as of yesterday. that is one small store too.
