Born, and mostly raised, in Calgary.
I have been stuck in Lethbridge for the past 10 years though.

I'm always a little surprised when I see that someone born and raised in Calgary has ended up in Lethbridge. I know a fair number of people who've done this. Just confuses me because I've always kind of thought of Lethbridge as the kind of place people would escape from rather than actually move to. No offense to anyone from there or living there, not a judgement of the people so much as of the place.

Actually, I was just born there and never lived there. Both sides of my family are from there though. We were living in Walsh at the time. Eventually, I ended up going to high school in Milk River so it's not like I improved my lot in life a whole lot from the Island.

Milk River towers over Bow Island like a mighty mythical giant.

Still on the hood of the aforementioned Ford? I think there is a special wax for that.

I know a lot of my friends who I went to university with wanted to stay in Lethbridge and still want to move back. Now they have the idea that it will be the same as when they went to university and it was a non-stop party everyday but I do know a lot of people really enjoy it while going to school here.
I have been out of school for about 4 years now and am not a fan of it at all, but my wives family is here and she loves it so I am stuck down here for now.
I would gladly "escape" though if given the chance.

Great stuff guys. I've been to almost every BC town mentioned, but only a few of the Alberta towns.
Since Jagger raised the bar with his wiki link and pictures, I am going to follow suit. Jagger raises the bar a lot.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalispell,_Montana
Kalispell is a city in and the county seat of Flathead County, Montana, United States. [1] The population was 14,223 at the 2000 census. Kalispell is the largest city and commercial center of Northwest Montana. The name Kalispell is a Salish word meaning "flat land above the lake." Kalispell is the nearest population center to Glacier National Park.
