oh brutal! i was hoping for the same CP jihad support that you and Kamper have gotten. im definatly in for the all CP competition. i wish i had more tech knowledge so i could rig it to get 10, 000 votes.

Well I'd say round 2 has all but been officially decided in the first few hours or so, haha. Glad to see it go to a fellow CP'er... and to see CP take over yet another poll.

Keep me in mind for Round 3!!

well well well... looks like they reset the votes. BLAST!

i'll have a peek at what they did in terms of beefing up security - if its a simple ip filter, it should be easy enough to get around... perhaps something like tor (https://www.torproject.org/) could make very short work of this. I have no idea if something this complicated is necessary as i haven't had a look yet and i haven't had much need to work with something like tor before.

yeah we all got an email from the guy and he has reset round 2 voting. maybe it was a little excessive

kinda funny - i nixed my original bot app that i wrote myself cause it was WAY too fast and used the more human iMacro method instead. but i guess if you have 3 or so people doing it that way at the same time it could get suspicious anyway.

oh well, 2 of the other competitors were using bots too.

so what we do is vote for our guys regularly, but a lot. Then if its close we run bots in favor of the other guy, thus getting him kicked from the competition :P

now now, it would be very unethical to run bots on every single non-cp contestant so they get banned making this a calgary puck only competition... *cough*

Got confirmation from the Sun today, I'm in for the 4th! I was actually on the ice today practicing, I was netting 2 out of 4 shots from the far face off circles. Need to sharpen up.

If anyone who voted is interested in hitting the game with me, send a PM and I'll do a draw. After I mentioned the contest to my girlfriend all of a sudden she wanted to go watch me, she's not going to give me any grief though.
