I will be there for the draft, although I can't stay all night to gametime. Hopefully the draft doesn't take too long by the looks of the others above me!

Well, there are 12 "for sures", the speed depends upon the attendees.
There will be a board to see who has been picked and who is left.
Lots of materials available for those less prepared.
If people are prepared and paying attention, it could go quickly. We could do a one minute time limit on picks if things start to drag.

troutman published my secret draft strategy in post #129 (*shakes fist at troutman*), so I don't know if I should do anything else or not.

The other part of my strategy is never to pick a Canuck, Oiler or Hab.

Is this only for those taking part in the hockey pool?
Would a casual observer be welcome?

Hhmmm, that could be tricky; most of my red outfits never see light outside of the bedroom.

You are risking inviting Fotze into the thread with these comments!

Fun drafts gentlemen and ladies.
I am just home to make a quick supper then back to the pub to rejoin the die hards.
Left troutman, cyclone, first lady, windom URL, and a couple other non CPers there.
We had a great time, think I will start a new thread for the trash talking and post all the picks.
We had 14 entrants: troutman, aeneas, cyclone, bobblehead, eddie bronze, slava, windom URL, Locke, sportsJunky, and a few non CPers.
Like I say all will be posted soon, but just as a preview:
SportsJunky took Luongo, and will cheer for him!

Aeneas has been drinking folks. I don't cheer for anyone when they play Calgary. Aeneas puked on the waitress. That is all.

I will chime in as witness to said puking. He also made a lot of bets regarding his team that will come back to haunt him!
