So... just so I understand your position... we can't tar the current Liberal government with any of the scandals of past Liberal governments, even though the current leader of the Liberals was a key cabinet minister in those scandal plagued governments, because that would be unfair. However, anything those past Liberal governments might have done that even comes remotely close to being "good" should be fair game and a key difference maker.

Well you're at least getting warmer. My point is that bringing up things that happened decades ago is ridiculous. But the war is still going on and the CPC policy is the same as it was then.

Funny thing is that I realised that really I'm almost a closet CPC supporter...if they would just lay off the social policies and stick to the fiscal stuff they would have me. Especially since they have now adopted that its good for government to get involved with business (specifically with the handouts to Bombardier and Ford recently). There is actually a lot of common ground between them and me now!
