The drunk driving! I was like... oh man, I can't believe they got away with letting people drive drunk in this game! There are going to be some pretty long lineups in the lawsuit aisle after some people get a hold of this .
So. Much. Fun.

When this happens I love to beat the crap out of the car until it's about to explode and then drive it at high speeds into a concrete wall (or jump it into the ocean) while diving out at the last second. That'll teach those stupid carjackee's.

Two hours?
First thing I did was beat up a street cop (the fat guy that looks like Carl Winslow) and took his gun.
The defining moment of the game for me so far has been jacking a nice muscle car and going balls out on the freeway. Doing over 100mph over a bridge completely forgetting that it wasn't open yet (darn terrorists). Ejecting out of the front window onto the hood of a police car filled with cops who's first reaction is to start firing.
I must have laughed for 10 minutes after that one.

When I was speeding down the road I ran into a telephone pole and got thrown through the front window of the car. Miracuously, I got up, wiped the glass off and continued on with game (which involved getting a lapdance!)

Haha I guess if you go in terms of the story, thats when you get a gun. If you wanna randomly take down a cop, then a gun is easily had

I took a helicopter and I was flying it up to the empire state building, I was trying to cut people up with the helipocter blades that were ontop of the building and then the tail end of the heli fell off. I was just spinning and spinning until I decided to jump out of the heli and I landed on a tour bus.

I'm sorry to say I've experienced a couple freezes last night. A little annoying but nothing too serious. If it keeps up at this rate I expect a freeze every 3-4 hours. Not ideal, but it could always be worse. Thank god for the auto save! I'm sure a fix is coming soon.
I have a friend north of Edmonton who hasn't been able to pick the game up yet, and I've been torturing him with stories like the ones you guys are telling.
It's funny, as long as a game has side-boob nobody will pay attention to the fact that you can get hammered, jump in a mini van and run 10-20 people down at the pier. It's like the ninja episode of south park (one of the best ever imo). There was drunk driving in GTA Vice City and nobody seemed to even notice then either. This game is a tad bigger, so I'm sure it'll come up eventually.
The first time I got Nico drunk I figured the next logical progression would be to jump behind the wheel. What a terrible mistake. Once the cops started chasing me I tried to pin it just as things got really spinny. I've never experience motion sickness from a game before, but I felt like I was going to hurl by the time I got thrown in the slammer.
Is it just me, or is it simply awesome when you shoot somebody through their windshield and their head just falls on the horn? God I laughed the first time that happened.
Edit: I haven't even been to the strip club yet, where is it?

I laughed pretty hard at a few things last night. I tried just getting into a cab like a regular customer, and I thought I did it right. Then Nico got in shotgun...and jabbed the taxi driver in the side of the face.
Me and my buddy tried out the cheats for awhile, and the grenades are friggin awesome. I also jumped off an overpass in a motorbike, and landed 100 ft below STILL ON THE BIKE!!
Maybe tonight I'll actually start the storyline.

Favorite moment so far: Thrown head first out of the windshield of my car...Niko gets up off the ground...and gets run over by a garbage truck..

To get to the strip club: go north over the Dukes Bay Bridge. If you look on the paper map that was inside the game jacket it's the purple dot in the island of Bohan. There's a room that says staff only and if you grab the gun that's on the desk, the bouncers get pissed off and chase you around (unfortunately gun beats fists: I win!)
The drunk driving was disorientating. I haven't seen any "mini-missions" (like the radio-controlled car with the bomb to kill the mafia cars or hidden icons...)

Anybody else having trouble getting through their work day, counting down the minutes until they can be on day 2 of rampaging Liberty City?
Maybe I'm just ultra-geek.

thanks for the directions puxlut.
My memorable moment: I started with my usual routine of beating up the nurses hanging outside the hospital. This attracted obvious police attention. I managed to beat the cop to death with my hands (and a perfectly timed Chuck Norris roundhouse to the chest) and stole his gun. This brought the police out of the woodwork so I jumped in the now empty police cruiser and attempted to find a quiet alley to escape. The cops were abnormally aggressive and my car was getting destroyed mighty quick. I made a last second decision to hit a fence that looked weak. It wasn't, and I went headfirst through the windshield, depleting my health to nearly nothing. I managed to get back in my car and blindly drove off the side of a hill, landing on a rooftop below. The police lost sight of me and my wanted level dropped. I was now faced with the problem of getting off the rooftop. Could I drive off, land and not be thrown throw the windshield again? Having no choice I gunned it and took the plunge. As I righted my car (now smoking) so that it would land on all 4 tires, I had a "Homer Simpson at the Springfield Gorge" moment where I gleefully announced "I'm going to make it!". My car then landed on the sidewalk. . . directly on top of a cop. Sparks and blood everywhere. I may have been able to get away had the impact not damaged my car to the point where it wouldn't start again. I was killed pretty quickly after that.

When I made this comment I didn't actually think "eventually" would amount to 3 hours

The sort of have their facts wrong, but I understand it's their job to make noise.
