The correct answer is: At the time, it was indeterminate. However, as it's been more than 70 years, I'm pretty sure the poor cat is dead of old age by now.

maybe some physics geek can help me out but i think indeterminate is wrong. Its both alive and dead as the other poster stated. Maybe i am misunderstanding here.

Yeah... sounds right Dan02. Can't say that "jammies" is wrong though...70 years is an awful long time for a cat.

depends if the box was traveling near light speed or not, i don't see the boxes velocity stated anywhere.
