Yeah, hopefully the Rockies streak can keep up. But really the Red Sox have to be like a 100-1 favorite in this series. Still heres hoping the Rockies pitching continues to put up tremendous numbers.

Really it's not that surprising that the Sox won. I mean Ramirez, Ortiz, Lowell and Youkilis hit the ball well all series while Clevelands best hitters didnt' really match them. Not often are you going to lose a series when your big boppers are hitting that well and outhitting the other teams guys. Same with Pedroia who hit the ball well all series but didn't get many hits in the first 4 games. Eventually he started getting some breaks, the other guys stayed hot and it became too much for Cleveland. Also....Francona's best move was putting Ellsbury in the lineup for games 6 and 7. Coco Crisp is a good late inning defensive replacement and nothing more now.

I almost feel bad for Cleveland fans... they have to be the most tortured fans in sports -

Cavs arent going to make any noise because LeBron may be a talent, but the GM cannot bring in people to help him.

Indians are just full of heartbreak - 1995, 1997, 2007.

Browns are...well... Tim Couch, the fumble, etc...

Chicago has their Cubs, Boston had their Red Sox and Detroit has their Lions... but those cities have their Bulls/Bears, Patriots/Celtics/Bruins, and Red Wings/Pistons, respectively. Cleveland has... Drew Carey?

I'm so glad Boston got the job done! As soon as Boston won game 5 i'd new they'd take it in 7. Schilling is a big game pitcher and then game 7 @ Fenway. Goodnight. I think Boston will beat the Rockies in 6 games.

Default World Series news out of Denver

Rockies Ticket Sales Suspended.....

Colorado's sales of World Series tickets were shut down Monday after fans and ticket brokers overwhelmed the computer system.

Rocktober quickly gave way to Mocktober for thousands of frustrated fans who were left staring at error pages on their computer screens.

Alves said more than 20,000 tickets or "virtually the entire allotment of tickets" were still available and will go on sale when the computer system is brought back online "later today."

State employees try to jump the line.........

Super-fast computers normally used only during emergencies were to be staffed Monday so state employees could buy Rockies World Series tickets online. Until word of the plan got out, that is.

"I need volunteers to help push buttons in attempting access,"David Holm, recently the acting director of the state Division of Emergency

Management, said in an e-mail. "You will need to use break time, lunch time or leave time to do this and the only real perk I can offer right now is that if someone does not pay for their tickets within three days, you will get first crack at them."

The computers in the Emergency Operations Center are normally activated during tornadoes, floods, snowstorms and fires. And some are wary about letting people use them to buy World Series tickets

"Taxpayers did not invest in an emergency response center so that state employees could use it for their own personal advantage and buy baseball tickets," said Chantelle Taylor, a spokeswoman for Colorado Ethics Watch.

Guh, nice to see the MLB using a piece of the NHL's playbook. You know, the part about how to kill fan interest in the playoffs by having week long layoffs.

Hopefully they scheduled an off day between games one and two.

Cause he's the starter and he's going to rest 4 days anyways? Why waste your bullpen in a blowout?

Besides, what's the worst that could happen?
