How do online leagues work anyway? I've never played in one. I am talking about finding the time to get all 82 games in against player controlled teams...seems it would be difficult, no?

Quick question. My girlfriend went to buy a copy for me today and they told her it didnt come out for regular xbox. Is this true? I only have the original xbox, not the 360.

Pretty good first impressions of the game. Its hard to do the deke thing with the LB button, but im sure it gets easier to figure out as you play.

Well, for starters the league can vary in length, so there can be short or long seasons. nextly, there isn't really a set schedule but rather a set number of times you need to play each person in the league. that makes it a little more accessible to those that only play a couple nights a week. you just log on and see who in your league is online and challenge them, then all the stats get tabulated. I just noticed now that you can be in multiple leagues, so you rarely need to worry about finding a match. should make for wicked fun.
I think what I'll do is join a bunch and find one or two that I really like and stick with them.
I'm all in for a cp league, but alas, i'm a ps3 user (so there's probably 3 of us in all of cp).

I would definitely be in for a online league. That could be awesomely fun. Trading with a human player too...
I probably couldn't get Ovechkin for Tanguay and a 2nd like i can against the computer.

The PC and next-gen versions are entirely two different games.

Ok, i think im up to 10 freezes during the anthems, and about 20 "lost connection to player" at the anthems.
Anyone else having this problem online? Starting to drive me absolutely crazy.

Lame, Guess I wasted my money. Sad considering my PC is a signifigantly stronger machine than any PS3 or XB360 ever will be. I don't really understand why the game couldn't have been ported to PC, the XB360 basicly IS a PC.
Ahh well, back to bioshock *tosses NHL08 aside*

whats with the stats online not telling you who you've won against... only lost? (with the exception being the SO onlines)
edit:
ahh... one is Shootout games, one is recent games.
